Bellyrub Klub

Our dog has gone once for daycare and once for boarding. Loved that we could have her bath before we picked her up so she was all clean coming home. She sleeps for days after her visit because she plays so hard! Will continue to bring her here when we need to :)

I had reviewed the Bellyrub Klub once before, but then they went and moved, so… I guess I need to re-​review?! Weird.
Anyway, I was sort of sad when they moved from their old facility. It was the place where I learned how to communicate effectively with my dogs, how to regain control of my two-​dog household, and helped my dear mean brown dog begin to learn not to want to kill everything that comes near him (I say «begin to» cuz we’re DEFINITELY not there yet).
I was sad, that is, until I saw the new facility.
Holy. Dog. Heaven. It’s ENORMOUS. And CLEAN. And so well organized. The layout provides ample room for daycare, boarding, training classes, and an agility room. They even board foster dogs there at their in-​house rescue while they wait for their adoptive homes. They have a whole retail storefront in the front of the building. They have grooming. It’s like one-​stop doggie PARADISE.
My favorite things: 1. They have these «suites» for boarding — each room is private and totally customized. Your dog gets its own TV, bed, games, and a framed picture of you right in the room. It’s adorable and 100% caters to the craziest of crazy dog people (ahem, me). 2. Their daycare and training classes are run by CERTIFIED dog trainers! We boarded our dogs here at the end of the summer and I. Was. Terrified. My brown dog is so mean on leash and i was having visions of him in a playgroup, turning crazy, and getting eaten. I cried when I dropped them off.
An hour later, one of the trainers, Sara, texted us a video of mean dog playing with two German shepherds. What the… What?! These people are miracle workers. The dogs survived their weekend without a hitch and came back to us exhausted, happy, well-​groomed, and safe and sound. It is SUCH a relief to know that if we go somewhere out dogs just can’t accompany us, we know they’re secure and safe.
Whenever I have questions about training or how to tackle a certain problem, the owner, Sue, is quick to email back with endless suggestions and tips. She just GETS it, and is as equally dog savvy as she is able to quell panicked, paranoid, or particular dog owners (again… Ahem, me).
We take our dogs here for training all summer long, and even though it’s kind of a hike from Naperville, it is so worth it to go someplace we trust. Plus, DOGGIE SUITES. C’mon, what more do you REALLY need?!

Hi to all who is reading this. Bellyrubklub is amazing they are really sweet and care so much about the dogs and they also respect the owners which is wonderful I have not met one person that I didn’t like yet I would definately recommend this to everyone I look forward to doing business with my new.
