I think this is the ghetto liquor store in the area — I only went there because of the owners friendliness but that has changed with his new cashiers. A dingy, dirty store and prices, selection do not compare to Specs, Goody Goody, or Sigel’s — all in walking distance of this location. And count your change they like to round your bill to the nearest dollar and arbitrarily KEEP the change. No can I, is it okay, BUT just blatantly short change you and get an attitude when you say something and they could care less about your business. Never heard of any cashier keeping a customers change and thinking that is an OK practice — it is theft, pure and simple.

This place is the real deal!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff — sometimes they can be comic relief at times too! This is the only liqour store I visit unless I’m not close to the area!

If I buy liquor — I GO HERE! Some of the staff look scary but they are all friendly, very helpful and know what to recommend for any situation or party. You can even get a cup of ice on the way out. I remember a time I came and mentioned what kind of party I was going to. He selected the perfect bottle (didn’t break the bank or offer expensive branded labels). He even told me how the party will end. He was right. Customer for life.

I was so glad when I found out about Buckhorn Discount Liquor; they are located in Addison and beat anyone’s prices. They staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. You can tell them what kind of alcohol you want and your price range and they can find what you need on your budget. They also have most of the liquors chilled if requested. Look out for tastings they often do on new liquors. Also if you are looking for certain liquor and can’t find it they will order it for you. Stop going to the chain stores and spending so much money, Buckhorns is the BEST.
