I had these guys out. The guy that came seemed very knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate for work needed. I just had my chimney cleaned, but he told me I still had creosote in the fire box, which could be a hazard. He shined a flashlight on it and showed me a shiny substance that he said could ignite. It seemed to make sense and he said he had a special way to clean it off. He also pointed out some other issues with the chimney. I opted for the cleanings only, because I didn’t have the money to take care of the other issues. They did a great job and I’m glad they inspected the chimney and let me know what other issues there are with the chimney.

These guys did a major (unexpected) repair job after the purchase of my new house. Their quote was half the price, nearly, of the cost the first company gave me. So call L*******‘s first if you want to feel better about their probably reasonable price. Our chimney was degraded, falling apart from within & required steel (I think) liners. If this happens to you, sit down & have a good cry bc is gonna cost you some $$$, then call Capital to fix your raggedy chimney. It’s been a year & all is well so far.

My husband and I called several chimney repair companies in the area but all were a bust and terribly unprofessional! But capital chimney was a world away from that. We scheduled a free estimate and to our surprise Mike (the owner) showed up ON TIME and did a fantastic job! We originally wanted only some tuck pointing, but Mike was so thorough and educated us on so many things. Turns out we only needed some light tuck pointing which he did on the spot but we also had a few other issues (some major, some not so) and was ready to set up the next visit to fix our crown and liner! I never felt that I could trust a technician so much.
Overall, I couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone. Prompt, friendly, and professional!

I called Capital Chimney for a free quote. The guys came out and assessed the problem and fixed it the same day. They even found something that was not up to code and could cause a potential fire in my chimney. Thank goodness! Mike and Dan who came for the quote and fix were professional, friendly and explained every detail so I knew what was wrong and how they would repair the problems. Mike even took photos on the roof so I could see what he was talking about. Love having a visual. The price was fair and Mike even gave me a coupon for 15% off of service. I highly recommend these guys.

Going off of the last positive experience I had with Capital Chimney, I referred my boss to this company. Our building needed some major tuck-​pointing work, and I knew my boss wouldn’t be disappointed with the quality of work. He ended up going with Capital Chimney, informing me that Michael was giving him an extremely good price, especially on all the work that needed to be done. The job was done efficiently, and the workers were very professional and hard-​working. My boss was pleased, and even gave me props for suggesting this company! (Hooray!) Again, job well done, Capital Chimney! Use this company! You won’t regret it!

At the end of the winter, I had noticed my chimney was leaning. I called Mike to come out and give me an estimate. His pricing was lower than the other companies I had already contacted. I went with him. The chimney repair work he did was fantastic. I honestly don’t think my chimney has ever looked this good. Thanks a lot guys!

Mike has cleaned our fireplace and chimney for the past 8 or 10 years. He has been prompt, courteous, clean and efficient every time. Our firebox is 20 years old. They replaced the back firewall and done some tuck point needed on the chimney. All their work has been perfect. I have recommended them to all my friends and family. Everyone has thanked me for the referral! We are also very happy with their prices and will only call them for our fireplace needs.
