La Michioacana

Went here once and the service and staff were friendly and helpful and they spoke English which was good because it was a bit difficult to understand the menu. They have a large selection of frozen treats and some unusual ones that seem to work. Sounds good so far but why only 3 stars? Well I have two boys allergic to dairy. I asked five maybe six times if the sorbet my son chose was dairy free. I was assured each time it was but it wasn’t. As my boys were eating I could tell a difference in the way one of their treats melted. One was more creamy and sure enough after I tasted it I realized it was sherbert not sorbet! I was told they were all sorbet in this certain section. My son started breaking out in hives around his mouth and we had to leave. I had some strawberry cheesecake ice cream but to be honest I like the DQ blizzard one better. I’m not saying I won’t try it again. They had other things on sticks my boys can have. I will give it another try. It’s close to home and reasonably priced. And it’s not just a «Mexican» place. There was a great mix of people there because Addison is a great mix of people.

One of the best Michioacana ice cream shops. This one actually has the prices listed on its menu. Try the Tequila flavor Ice cream!!! super clean and free wifi.
