Worst service ever!!! Been here four times out of the two out of the four times the server owner or whatever he is has been so rude. Came in today for lunch with my husband a party of 14 walks in The guy starts acting like he so aggravated because these people are there they go on and tell him how it’s their first time here very rudely he responds are you going to want a menu or not!!! He gets mad at them because they move some of his chairs around and he proceeds to tell them how he needs those at the end for customers. Hello are they not customers. He brings out our food doesn’t even ask us if we want a drink I had to literally scream out could I get a Diet Coke my husbands was so mad he didn’t even ask for a drink the guy never even came back to ask us if everything was OK he was too busy being rude to the 14 new customers I had just walked into his spot never again.

ZEROSTARS!!! Wow is this place terrible. No organizational skills at all. I ordered lunch for my entire department. Placed the order to go. They charged us for the full amount of the order, however, left out several entrees. Which of course we did not realize until the guy who picked up the food returned to the office. And the entrees they did remember weren’t labeled, so no one had any idea what they were eating and everyone hated their meal. We couldn’t figure out what was what since it was the first time any of us had ordered from there… ANDTHELAST Major disappointment, and no one from my company will be ordering from this place again.

I ordered the Chicken Pad Se Eiw for take-out. This dish is very dry… so dry I had to ask a coworker for some soy sauce because it didn’t visibly have ANY sweet soy sauce as promised. The serving is small compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, it had lots of noodles compared to chicken and broccoli. There were no carrots. This is the second time I’ve ordered from them and the first time I had the exact same experience. Although it is the most convenient Thai restaurant to my job, I don’t know if I will be going back to give them a 3rd chance to get it right.

Best Thai food ever! The tofu Panang Curry, is the best I’ve ever had. The lunch specials are a great deal here. If you’re looking for great Thai food this is the place to go! The pad Thai and lo mein are good dishes to try also. Cucumber salad is good and the dressing on the lunch salad is really good… I haven’t tried a dish here yet that I didn’t like!

Just came for lunch with some coworkers. It didn’t seem very busy but I understand it’s a small operation. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time for lunch but it took 15 mins before our order was taken and my coworkers were going to be late for a meeting so I walked up to the counter to see if we could get our food boxed up. The server was friendly at first but after going up to the counter he was clearly frustrated since our food was just put on the plates and about to come out. However, we tried to get his attention several times and going up to be counter was a last resort since we had to leave. I’m annoyed because he became so rude so quickly about the ordeal. If I come back I’ll make sure to give myself plenty of time. The one redeeming thing from today was the he jokingly asked us how spicy we wanted our food. Thank goodness, I asked for 6 and it was actually spicy!!!

The food is good, attitude of the person taking orders is horrible, extremely bad customer service. Quite rude. Lunch special is from 11 to 2 pm. I call in before 1:50 to place my order and he tells me it is 2 pm in our clock and we are done with lunch special. I googled at verified the time and my clocks were all in line.

Was a frequent customer until owner and little kid waiter argued with me over what I ordered. Have been eating Thai food for over 30 years. Restaurant is overpriced… small servings… empty most of the time and I understand why. Spicy noodle is delicious and curry dishes are great.

I’m giving this place 4 Stars because of the friendly service and good food at a good value. I have come here a few different times for lunch, and have enjoyed it every time. If your in the area, a good, fresh, clean place for some good Thai.

Great place. Get the basil fried rice with beef, at spice level 8. The chef will customize your order, he’s pretty good about making recommendations. Thai donuts after the meal are excellent and will negate that spicy taste out of your mouth.

I just ordered from here and wouldn’t recommend it. I ordered online to pick up and take back with me. I got there and there was only one table with guests which seems odd since it was dinner time. The staff did not greet me other than to say«pickup» and went on to explain that mango sticky rice was seasonal and they didn’t have it(I ordered it online). Then he told me i should call next time so they don’t have to pay a fee. My first thought was if you don’t want to pay a fee, don’t offer the service. I got home and tried the pad Thai and it was mediocre. I didn’t finish as it had a funny taste. Not recommended.

Not a bad Thai Restaurant. It’s hard to really gauge an Asian restaurant for lunch when they serve a limited lunch menu. There are maybe 15 items on their lunch menu. Each is served with soup and egg roll. They had two«specials» posted, and I opted to order one of them. I didn’t know ahead of time, and the server did not tell me, that these were dinner specials and did not come with the extras. Also, they cost more. I ordered Barbequed Pork Fried Rice. Never had fried rice in a Thai restaurant before. Unlike ordering it in a Chinese restaurant the server asked me how spicy I wanted it. Liking things spicy, on a scale of 1 to 10, I asked for a 7. A seven tickled the back of my throat, but I probably should have gotten an 8 or a 9. The food was quite good. The service was only fair. The furnishings were also fair and sparse.

The food, quality, décor, and service are ok. My favorite Thai in the area is Nathan’s in Elmhurst, followed by Bambu. Thai Addison is third because it’s so close to home. It is fine, adequate, good — but when you have a favorite place does anything really compare?

Dining on Monday night is always difficult: Thai Addison does NOT make it easier. We arrived about 6PM to an empty restaurant, and were somewhat reluctantly seated. No wine. Hot tea was promptly served. Confirming the chef has mastered boiling water, things began to rapidly decline. Spring rolls were a wierd, unispired arrangement of very small half-inch sections soaked in a sweet and sour sauce. Pot stickers were dried up, mummified specimens. We decided to regroup around the chef’s strength: boiling water, and ordered soup. Not terrible, my Shrimp Tum Yum was filled with almost raw cabbage, and very little else. We very seriously considered calling it a night, but I hd to sample a curry dish. We were, after all, at a Thai restaurant, and I could not imagine them screwing this up. The waitress brought the 6 overcooked shrimp in a small bowl with a little rice, then disappeared: No Serving spoon; No attempt to collect used plates; no plates for me and my guest to share the curry. Presumably the waitress expected us both to use our hands and eat from the same bowl.

I’m still a Thai newbie, so I still order ‘safe’. That will change one of these days. For now, I’m sticking to the basics. I was visiting a nearby shop and stopped in for a quick lunch. I told the server that I was in a hurry and he put the pedal to the metal. I started with a lite salad. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The dressing — very good. Then I received a spring roll with a dipping sauce. The spring roll wasn’t overly greasy and the dipping sauce had a slight bite to it. Also, it arrives piping hot! Just the way I like my food! Finally, I had a sweet and sour shrimp lunch special with jasmine rice. Thai food isn’t usually breaded and these shrimp met that expectation. The shrimp were very large and served among a nice mix of crisp veggies. I was so glad not to be eating mush. It was a great dish! My only wish was that the sauce had been hotter(temperature, not spice). So I learned a few things. This restaurant has been here for eighteen years. You read that right… eighteen years! How had I missed this place for so long. Well, under new ownership for the past seven months they’ve removed the previously permanently installed closed window blinds. The restaurant is a little dated which adds to the charm and appeal. The prices are in line with what I’d expect for these serving sizes. The owner is literally shopping at Caputo’s regularly to get the freshest veggies for his dishes! Thai Addison Reataurant is worth a shot. It’s a casual family place with a pretty common Thai menu, but with a dedicated new owner.

:-(Under New Ownership The tender meat and delicious flavors are gone. They’ve apparently been under new ownership for four months now, more than enough time to be up to speed. If this is what they plan to make their standard it’s time to find a new place.

I came here for a late lunch at around 12:45 — 1:00PM-ish with a co-worker. It was not packed so we were seated immediately. I would have never known about this restaurant because it is hidden in a strip mall… Food: Pad Thai: it tasted good and they give you a lot… however I’ve had better. Costs: Lunch Specials for ~$ 6 – 7(ahh don’t remember the exact cost). **lunch specials come with soup & your choice of egg rolls or shrimp wontons Customer Service: the waiter was friendly… Atmosphere: felt kinda empty/not much décor and really quiet… if you are anti-social and like to go out to lunch alone. maybe this place would be good for you?.. Overall experience: it was ok, I would go again, but probably wouldn’t drive out of my way to go there…
