It was a pleasant experience dining here. This restaurant offers hookah options too where you would be seated in a hookah section of the restaurant. The menu had lot of vegetarian entrée options whereas in other Mediterranean restaurants, I generally find only vegetarian appetizers or sides. The person who served us was friendly. He mentioned that there would be buffet during weekends. Overall, good food and good service!

We have been looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy hooka. Turns out this place fit the bill and more. The menu is pretty big for food and smoke. Many, many flavors to suit your hooka pleasure. There was a good choice of Mediterranean and Arabic dishes to choose from. I don’t know much about the food fare, so I got the beef shawrema wrap(srry I butchered the name) but it was really good. Girlfriend liked the fries that came with it. I look forward to the next time we go so I can try something else. There is a little spot in the corner where a band would play, but this night there wasn’t any live music.(This was on a Friday night at 10pm or so) However, there was some nice atmosphere music on the PA. The waiter and the manager were super nice and seemed to take a lot of pride in the establishment. We sat and talked and enjoyed the hooka for a few hours. The only thing that could be improved on are the chairs at the tables. They’re kinda hard and we couldn’t really sit back and relax. Otherwise, thumbs upp!

The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the enormous portion I was given. The décor is beautiful, with brightly colored mosaic lamps and eclectic artwork. The reason this was a four star instead of five was the service. We were seated quickly and got drinks/ordered promptly. After that the waiter pretty much disappeared. Someone else brought out the food, then there was literally no one until the manager asked if we wanted boxes. There was plenty of staff and they were not busy, just standing around. Please work on the service level and this place will be a sure five star joint. I’ll still go back but will know to get all requests out of the way when I have a server in front of me. Don’t know when I’ll see him again.

We live close by and always wanted to try so we stopped in for the lunch buffet. We were greeted by very friendly employees and shown to an awesome buffet! Lots of vegetarian options. It may have been the owner that was manning the buffet, he was super informative and made great pairing suggestions. We enjoyed everything that we tried We will definitely be back for the belly dancing!

I’ve eaten at this place numerous times and in my opinion, it is one of the best Middle-Eastern places in Dallas. I’ve never been for the night life part but when I visit, it’s for lunch or the dinner buffet they have during Ramadan. Their lentil soup is my favorite. This is family owned and operated. The matriarch runs the kitchen and the results are fantastic. It’s very reasonably priced and the service is pretty good. Definitely worth it!

Excellent food. Would have given 5 starts but the place is a bit dingy and dark. Plus I went on a Saturday night for dinner when there was live Arabic singing and music going on. Very cool but extremely loud, couldn’t talk at all. Will go again on a regular day.

One of the best places for Middle Eastern food in North Dallas! We often bring out out of town guests here. The spicy garlic potatoes are amazing! Great food! Great place to smoke hookah. It’s pretty loud on Friday and Saturday nights, really more of a hookah lounge those nights.

Last minute decision by co-workers and I’m glad we made it. I’m always hesitant to eat buffet, but this place was clean, food was fresh, staff was very friendly, and everything was delicious. I will be back for sure.

Every time I come to Dallas to visit my sister we make it a priority to come here! Usually we come in for lunch to grab food and hookah but today we came on a Friday night! The vibes are amazing, the belly dancer is so talented and involves the crowed! So much fun to get dinner here later at night! This time I got the meat pies and grape mint hookah! Both were amazing! And the service here is on point, keep up the nice work!

The Groupon is purposefully misleading. You pay $ 12 for two $ 12 Groupons(50% off) but you are limited to one per visit. This means expect to pay full price the first time around. If you like it you can go back and get $ 12 off. As a first-time guest, this deceptive tactic really left a bad taste in my mouth. The food, on the other hand, was pretty good. The service was fine as well. Very expensive, though.

Had a very nice meal here with my wife. It was a Friday dinner and the restaurant was surprisingly empty around 6:30, but that worked out in our favor as this restaurant is an indoor hookah lounge so we were able to get the table furthest from the hookah area. You can still smell it some as the AC moves it around. My chicken entrée on the grill menu was great. Chicken Shawarma, came with a generous portion of rice plus two sides. I did the baba ghanouj and sauteed vegetables, both of which were good. Baba ghanouj was a bit on the salty side for me, but I don’t eat a lot of salt when I can avoid it so I’m not used to it. Everything else had wonderful flavors. My wife had a gyro wrap and she really liked it.

Best Lebanese food I have had in a long time. plenty of traditional variety at the lunch buffet. The«mama’s salad» is just like I grew up eating

Only in for Hookah but atmosphere was great, service was attentive and good. Would totally be willing to try the food. Seems quite authentic and spacious. Didn’t come out smelling like hookah which means the place is well kept and ventilated. Worth a try.

This is truly the best, freshest and most wonderful food I’ve had in so long. The portions are great, service is really good, and this is a place we will come over and over again. The tzaziki sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Chunks of cucumber, unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, and so fresh. We especially enjoy the shrimp scampi skewers, and the basmati rice is the very best!!! After one visit, the server remembered us. Truly remarkable. We love the variety of hookah and the general ambience. We will come here over anywhere else in Addison and surrounding areas!!!

I wish I took photos of my food of this place because it is very tasty. My boyfriend took me here for dinner and everything was not disappointing. We had a waiter in training and he did very well. He was very prompt, attentive to our needs, and was informative. The food was delicious and had a variety of things. Everything was flavored and seasoned well. The only downside to this restaurant, is that the hookah is held RIGHTNEXT to the dining area. So, you can definitely smell hookah within your region even if they have vents. Overall, worth a try. Great food. Great service. Cute interior.

Came here one night on a whim to smoke some hookah and eat some food. Little did I know Id get a show too! The atmosphere and show were great. The food was good. My only complaint is the service was not so hot. The waiter took a long time to come to us, get our order, and bring things to us. At some points it seemed like he forgot about us. It seemed like it was his first week, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. All in all it was a great overall experience and I would go back again and I highly recommend it!

Maybe today wasn’t the best day for SanabelS. We like the staff and the table service. The food order has mixed reviews. We came after lunch buffet meal service and excluding one other customer, we were the sole table. We ordered the same entrees as on a previous visit and received them an HOUR later. The Chicken Tikka would take 20 – 25 minutes, we were told. OK. An hour later, my husband’s, very blackened; but still tasty entrée was placed on the table with my grilled Classic Arabic Shawarma. Neither one was as good as what we had here 5 months ago; but they were still savory. In the interim, we had 2 spinach and 2 meat pies. The spinach pie dough was delicious; but neither pie filling was seasoned well and they came with uninspiring yogurt. As it turned out, we were happy we had had them to eat. We had been there FORLUNCH nearly 2 hours by the time we left.

I came here for dinner and from the moment we walked in the service was great! The server made us feel really welcomed. We started off with a hookah, which had a pineapple head instead of your traditional hookah head. I highly recommend paying a little extra and getting that. For appetizers we got the hummus with chicken and the meat pies. Everything we ordered tasted great. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for good food, hookah and service.

I went here for lunch with my co-workers today ! First of all, I rarely eat Mediterranean, but I’m glad I did . The ambience is laid back and chill for when they have hookah time. Of course, we came for the buffet, but«to go». We were greeted and given styrofoam containers to stuff. Haha! It’s 8.99 per pound for reference . The food is amazing ! Everything you can imagine. Kabobs, Lamb, Falafel, Dolmas, tons of veggies, etc. I didn’t have one bad thing. All delicious ! We didn’t experience a lot of service, but what we did experience was good. Keep in mind, the buffet is only for weekday lunch. Highly recommended ! I’ll be back soon.

I grew up in the Middle East so it’s hard to find a place that can measure up to that. Sanabels definitely does! They have awesome buffets, deals through the week and their happy hour?! Who can beat that? Food is delicious would definitely recommend the spicy hummus for a little extra kick to your usual hummus. If you have time, sit back and smoke some hookah as well and ask your waiter for tips, ours was attentive and gave the right amount of advice without overstepping or being too pushy. Will definitely be back!

I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean food and I would definitely recommend this Mediterranean restaurant. I really liked the dim lighting and atmosphere. There are a lot of people smoking hookah depending on what day or time you come so keep that in mind. I don’t do hookah but I don’t mind the smoke or people around me smoking. The smell is actually kind of nice. My bf ordered the white grape hookah which was light like he wanted but he said he wasn’t really impressed. He also didn’t like the plastic hose because it takes away from the authenticity. Also, they charge $ 2.49 for the hose which I thought was unnecessary. The staff is really friendly which I appreciate a lot except for one waitress. This is my second time here and during Ramadan they have an Iftar buffet which is really good but I’m sure the lunch buffet is probably similar. I’ve read the happy hour deals are good as well. The quality of the food is great for the price. The Iftar buffet was $ 14.99 and they had a lot of different food options. The foods that I enjoyed from the buffet were their sautéed mushrooms, zesty cauliflower, chicken kabobs, spicy garlic potatoes and garlic sauce. Anything dipped in the garlic sauce is to die for.

I’m usually cautious about buying Groupons for restaurants but I read up on the reviews for Sansabels and everything seemed pretty positive. I came in on a Thursday evening and was surprised there were only 2 other people there. On Thursdays they have their drink happy hour($ 2 wells, $ 3 Titos and Crown and coke) all day! The interior is a little dark for my liking but the wait staff made the ambience much warmer. My waitress was very kind and although she disappeared on me for about 10 minutes after I ordered my food to go talk to a man smoking a hookah leaving my drink empty, she was polite and arrived with my delicious plate of food. I ordered the cabbage rolls and the 3 skewers mix(lamb, beef, and kufta). The cabbage rolls were interesting. It tasted a lot more lemony than I had anticipated and I think that caught me off guard. The rice inside is a bit like the rice in the dolmas, mushy and the plain yogurt made it even more acidic tasting. I think I would like to try a different app next time. My entrée, however, was awesome! Each of the different skewers that I ordered was perfectly cooked and tender. I was having trouble choosing which meat was my favorite, but I’m going to say the lamb. The rice was awesome, mixed vegetables deliciously buttery and garlicy and the hummus and pita just rounded out the meal. I love how they give you 2 types of pita bread: regular and fried. This is definitely a place I would like to return.
