Nothing beats a churriscarria. Nothing. The meats are perfectly done, and they will keep feeding you until you have to be wheeled out on a EMS gurney if you don’t turn your meat coaster to the red side. You will eventually surrender and do so out of sheer self-preservation! I didn’t understand about the coasters the first time, and I nearly didn’t make it. They give you a coaster that’s green on one side, red on the other. When you want meat, you put the green side up. While you’re eating what you have, you turn it to red so they stop bringing meat. Pretty self explanatory, but I forgot to turn it. They kept piling meat on my plate. And every one kept coming to the table and offering me more. Steak of various types, lamb, mutton, you name it, I ate it. And fried bananas, mashed potatoes, and cheesy miniature buns on the side. I ate so much, oh my goodness. That doesn’t even take into account the delicacies offered on the salad bar. A word to the wise, don’t fill up on the amazing salad bar. I didn’t know about that the first time either. I was miserably full the first time, but now I’m a pro at this kind of dining. Moderation is key. Try a little of everything the first time you go, then next time concentrate on the stuff you really like. You will be back, and you might even have room for dessert!

This place was a fantastic choice for my boyfriend’s birthday last night. I made online reservations a week in advance so there was no wait. They asked if there was a birthday before we sat down and remembered it the rest of the dinner. Our server Jennifer was exceptional and made sure our food arrived quickly, gave us a good overview of how the place works and knew exactly when to check in. The cheesy biscuits and salad bar were excellent as usual, and the meats were tender and perfectly cooked. Jennifer asked if we liked our steaks cooked differently(we do — medium rare for me and well done for him) and the carvers immediately caught on, bringing us two skewers for each meal the rest of the night. I was really impressed at their ability to remember and keep up with everyone’s choices, especially on a Saturday when every table was full. To top it off, on our way out everyone even wished him happy birthday!

We’ve went to this location before and would have rated it 3 – 4 stars. Today, however, our experience was different. We had a reservation and arrived at 2pm. The hostess informed us that we’d have to wait. After waiting 30+ minutes we left. What’s the point of a reservation if you’re still experiencing a long wait time? We’re going to a better churrascaria — there are plenty in the area!

It’s always the same problem here… The hostesses are always a bit rude, however once you get past them the service is always pleasant. The waiters are very attentive which is why I return.

Reservations are useless here. 2nd Time a reservation made has been a waste of time. Arrived at 6:27 for a 6:30 reservation and told we were marked as a no-show. I didn’t make a reservation for 6:27. Make sure you get to airports and Texas de Brazil’s an hour early.

Tried their weekend lunch and it was amazingly delicious. Loved the lobster bisque especially with the Brazilian rolls. All the meats were good but my favorite was the sausage. The service was excellent. There was no time to breathe in between all the different meat skewers that the servers brought over to the table. Your plate was never empty. The dessert tray was also amazing. Had the crem brûlée to top off my lunch. Will be back to try their dinner.

Well, we gave it a shot and it just doesn’t compare with the competitor across the street that rhymes with Bogo. Tables were extremely close together, it was very loud, and the waitress… eh…I’m in a nice mood today, skip it. Meats were good, but we never got to try either of filet selections listed, nor the flank steak. The salad bar was good but temperatures on many of the hot items were barely warm. Still, we ate beef, lamb, pork, and chicken until we were miserably full.

As a vegetarian, this place is top of the top for special occasion outings, and unlike many places, offers excellent choices for meat eaters and veggies alike. Omnivores can eat from the meat at your table and salad bar buffets, while vegetarians can eat from the salad bar only for a reduced price. But the name ‘salad bar’ does not do Texas de Brazil justice. It’s a buffet of meditteranean cheeses, olives, peppers, artichoke hearts, cold couscous salad, fresh mozzarella, cheese dip and more. Everything is delicious and the salad bar includes hot dishes such as bisque, potatoes au gratin and marinated mushrooms. Texas de Brazil is one of the few buffets where as a vegetarian I have more than enough options.

Let me start by saying I have visited quite a few brazilian steakhouses and by far this is the worst. My family(father, mother and husband) all went for lunch on 12÷26÷15. The service was terrible and the food was horrible, mostly because it was luke warm or cool, there was a bone fragment in a piece of the meat we were served and we had to continue to ask for refills and side items. Also, it was apparent that my mother was unable to help herself as myself and father were assisting her. The waiters who brought around the meats kept sliding it right into her face and because of her medical condition(Alzheimer’s disease) she was extremely confused and made her cry and feel uncomfortable. When we declined whatever type of meat was brought around the guys would huff and stand there awkwardly. I was so disappointed in the service I wouldn’t even allow my father to pay since i suggested eating at this location. I rarely get to see my family as they live a long ways away and this was so unpleasant that we didn’t get to enjoy our time together. I actually paid for the meal so my family wouldn’t have to waste their money on a horrible and uncomfortable meal. Thanks Texas De Brazil!

Very similar to the concept of Brazilian restaurants. You sit down and servers with big meat skewers will approach you asking if you want a piece of this or that meat(and chicken and pork) You can also request salad bar only for roughly half of the price. Their salad bar is excellent with a huge selection of fresh vegetables, cheeses, salmon, salads, breads, and more. Service is also excellent. And the atmosphere is very comfortable. Complementary valet is also offered.

We sat at the bar ordered the antipasto and chicken, garlic sirloin and sausage which was absolutely wonderful. The bartender Leo was great and very attentive. He suggested great wines and coffee drinks. We def will be coming back to this location.

Bernabe was a great added touch to our experience — gotta love cute staff ! We appreciated the 50% off offer received for Veterans. But this place is still a good option at regular price. My first visit will definitely not be my last, and although I initially compared it to Fogo-de-chao, it’s safe to say that I can appreciate TdB slightly more because of the delicious ribs smothered in bbq sauce that makes you want to lick your fingers. My only discrepancy was the initial shock of seeing the $ 33 charge for the pitcher of Sangria — however I still recommend ordering it, ask for white with extra fruit… thank me later! ;)

Finally got to try this place out. Overall I enjoyed the experience. Food was good, and not salty. Salad bar was nice and had plenty of options. We had to ask for bread, we only got mashed potatoes and fried bananas when we first sat down. We were placed in a corner, which is fine, but felt like our main server ignored us. I saw other tables presented with a dessert platter, but he only asked if we wanted dessert. Probably because we had a baby, but still. So one star taken off for service. I liked the food better than Fogo, so I will be back. I may try other locations in Dallas though.

My coworkers and I came to celebrate a birthday. We decided to come for a weekend brunch because it seemed like it would be the best deal. You get access to the salad bar, a variety of meats minus the lamb chops, a nonalcoholic drink, and your choice of one dessert for $ 35 ish You can opt for just the salad bar and it’s even cheaper(upper 20’s). I did however get a taste of the Picanha meat and that was to die for !! It just melts in your mouth with flavor and the meat was so tender. I really liked the salad bar. There was so much to choose from and they all tasted really good. They had mouth watering smoked salmon, big mozzerella balls, couscous, proscuitto, pasta salads, lobster bisque soup, and a ton of other stuff that I don’t remember. The complimentary cheesey bread balls are delicious as well! They’ll put them on your table for you. The dessert I chose was the crème brûlée. It was flavorful, however the sugar topping was burnt and it was too thick. I did manage to finish off the rest though. The key lime pie I think is probably the best to end the meal with in my opinion. It’s not as heavy as the chocolate cake or the cheesecake, and its got a lighter sweetness to the palette, but you might be able to finish it all. Overall, I’ll probably come back for a special occasion, but probably either during brunch, lunch, or with a coupon for $ 25 off 2 dinners when you sign up for their member program.

A Date Nite surprise for me, truly a 5 restaurant. Firstly, the only parking is free valet parking. The salad bar, although small is truly amazing. There was no break between how often they come to the table with fresh hot meat. Protein overload, but in a really good way. So much to say about this place I don’t know what to say. It’s a culinary experience you must have on your own. The wait staff was soooo professional. The manager checked on us several times. The entire staff seemed to be Brazilian and we’ll versed on whatever meat they were bringing. They also have a very extensive wine list. Very pricey so be prepared. They will earn a very good tip from you so please have enough for that too. We are traveling again next weekend and hope that there is a location where we will be.

So I just so happen to love TdB. I find that TdB is pretty consistent across the board, from state to state. Even though it is a chain restaurant, there are certain chain restaurants that lack that the consistency but TdB is not one of them. I visited this location while I was out in Texas on vacation. What was initially going to be just drinks turned into dinner and dessert with a nice gentleman that I met at the car show. Ambiance, service, food quality, seating arrangements were all EXCELLENT. If you are a meat lover and/or lover of fine dining you will definitely LOVE this place.

This is how Texas de Brazil sits on the Brazilian BBQ food chain. Fogo de Chao Texas de Brazil Rafain

All you can eat Brazilian steak house with salad bar, yum. Unlike Rafain, this place does not include dessert and doesn’t have grilled pineapples on skewers. They do have very thin pineapple slices in the salad bar though but they aren’t topped with cinnamon, nor carmelized. I MUSTPREFERRAFAIN for reasons I won’t get into. But back to Texas de Brazil, consistency is a problem here. The meats in this visit was more salty than all prior visits. Others in my party who like it that way, even mentioned that it was saltier than they’ve ever had before. It left some of us not feeling well a little bit after. The lamb chops are better here than at Rafain’s. I had two(2) and wish I had more haha. Even sitting here now writing this, I wish I had a lamb chop. Pecanha is one of their most popular meats and it is a good one. They have pork, chicken, sausage, and other cuts as well. You can get them however done, or not done, you’d like. If you want it well done though, they will have to come back with a more cooked piece. I advise against well done pieces though. One surprising this is that they have AMAZINGGOATCHEESE! Serious, give it a try. They have several other cheeses but this is the only one worth commenting about. It so soft and creamy. One of the best goat cheeses I’ve had. It is located at the salad bar. Their prosciutto is fabulous too! Other items that you can find at the salad bar are cold asparagus, salad options, variety of salad dressings, olives, sushi, lobster bisque, and potatoes au gratin. The lobster bisque seems to vary in taste as well. Others said that it was quite spicy at our last visit, when normally it isn’t suppose to be apparently. They did not like the spicy lobster bisque. How to make it affordable — Go at lunch time for a discount price, buy their $ 60 promo card that gets you half off 12 dinners, or go during your birthday once you sign up for their emailing list.
