Beat seafood I’ve had since moving to Valdosta. I had family visiting from out of state, and we found ourselves hungry after walking Reed Bingham State Park. We had my dog with us, so we couldn’t eat in the dining room. The hostess wrangled some waiters to carry a table out to the porch. We split a sampler plate, and the food was perfect. My brother insisted we eat there again before they left, but the restaurant is only open on the weekends. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Great food, excellent service, nice salad bar. All around a great choice for catfish and other Southern style food when in the area. The catfish was well prepared and light. The cheese grits were delicious.

Tried this last weekend, severvice was slow, waitress was terrible, food was very slow, just about starved to death waiting for it. Catfish was good when we fineally got it. They need a dip for their fried pickles.

My uncle and I were looking up some relatives in the area and one of the locals mentioned this is the best place in town for southern style cuisine. I had a combination of catfish, scallops, hush puppies and grits. Everything was very good, fried of course but excellent. The wait staff and owners were very friendly and if you are looking for something to eat in this area this place is great. There aren’t any signs off the highway, but it is not too far off the beaten path.
