Closed. Being torn down. What more can I say? We regularly frequent WH in the south. Sorry this one was not in operation.

It is a Waffle House. A good Waffle House – clean, good service, good food. It was a handy place to grab a bite to eat, and really convenient to where we were staying. The waffles were tasty as always!

Quitman, GA
Standard great Waffle House food. 8:40am and no rush on a Wednesday. Food came out correct and quickly. Minor distraction of a waitress complaining about wanting to quit, but I guess that’s par for the course when it comes to diners. What’s a diner with out a little chitchat right? Good place to grab a bite to eat. Not far off the mark from the other waffle houses in the state.

This past weekend was the first time in over a year I stopped here again to eat. It was about seven thirty in the evening and while busy, it wasn’t exceptionally bad. What was bad was the service. Even though I sat in a booth adjacent to the cooking area, never got a second stop by a server once my food was delivered. The omelet was fine but the coffee soon emptied and stayed that way. There were at least eight servers present and I was forgotten. Sad.

A storm forced me in to waffle house, as a rule I avoid them. This waffle house is an exception. It is clean, the servers are friendly and I am pretty sure my grilled cheese was perfect. I am so glad we chose this store as our port in a very nasty storm tonight!
