It’s been a while since I’ve been to a restaurant that was great in all aspects. If I’m going out to spend my hard earned money I want a positive experience all around and this was it! From the waitstaff to the atmosphere, salad dressing(which is a big thing for me), homemade rolls, reasonably priced drinks($ 6.25 tall gin and tonics), and the Teriyaki Chicken Alfredo… We will definitely be back!

Food is great, really good menu choices and specials on Monday and Wednesday. Tonight they were bombed with a holiday crowd and Donna(the bartender) turned into super woman once again. She’s amazing and one of the reasons we keep coming back…

If you are going here to be accommodated and served decently, then you should reconsider. We made reservations for a party of 15 and they split us up. Upon asking to just move our tables together, which still allowed more space around us for servers to walk by, they would not allow it. Then they didn’t drop any menu’s until after about 45min of us all just sitting there. It then took another 45 min just to place our order. My food was cold, even though it was on a freaking skillet. And the pasta night on Monday was not a deal. For $ 10.95 you get a decent salad, but then a tiny scoop of pasta with half a piece of chicken. The skillet was practically empty. It was probably the worst service and food. However the bread and oil was good, so there’s that.

The only times I come here are for the pasta specials. Very reasonable prices for the meal. Bread and olive oil is outstanding, and always get refilled. Staff is very polite and fast. Great business that’s close to home.

Finally she accepted to go on a date with me and I couldn’t have picked a better place for it. Yes folks, my gorgeous wife of 18 years, mother of four of our children accepted to go on a date alone with me ;-). The first impression was awesome and then it went up from there. I ordered the A dish with Michael’s teriyaki Alfredo sauce and my date ordered a vegetarian eggplant dish… Both were very good. Prices are very very reasonable. The service was excellent for a place this size… Everyone greater you and held doors open. By the way we went there in a Monday night… Fairly busy and still the food was fresh and service was top notch. Now the only question is if she’ll go on another date again with or not. Thank you Michael and staff, great experience.

I don’t live in Agawam anymore but I always make time to go when I am home visiting because I crave it when I am away! I usually eat red sauce when dining at an Italian restaurant but one time I tried the Teriyaki Alfredo Pasta dish with spinach and chicken and I can’t get over it. It’s so unique and delicious and I never met someone who didn’t think the same. They also have very good warm bread with seasoned oil. Anthony was recently our waiter and was so nice. He came to the table at the right times and we never had to wait or even ask for anything. Ill definitely be back and recommend it to anyone.

We go here a few times a year. Basically it’s when we crave the Michaels Teriyaki Alfredo which is the best meal on the menu. Rolls with seasoned garlic oil are a favorite too. I think prices are way too expensive by at least $ 2 – 3 a meal. It’s always cold in this place too. Wear a sweater. Service is good but Michael should lower his prices. Salad that comes with meals are basic and could be better. Everything has garlic so be prepared with mints afterwards. That doesn’t bother me but may be overpowering for some.

The Chicken Teriyaki Alfredo is amazing. I don’t like the restaurant though. It is so loud. It’s a hide open room with massive windows and nothing to absorb the sound. Even when the restaurant is only half full it’s so loud you can hardly hear the people at your table. Come here with your family, never come here if you want a romantic evening out. Also, they don’t split checks. Last time I was there I overheard a, rather loud, customer and a waitress arguing about the fact that they wouldn’t split a check. Nor would they allow more than one credit card be used to pay the bill. I honestly don’t know if that is restaurant policy, or a waitress on a power trip.

I enjoy this place. That being said, I order the same thing every time(Teriyaki Alfredo! Sounds weird but it’s great!) and I try to always ask for the same waitress and she’s extremely sweet and attentive. I have heard a lot of bad reviews and some of the reviews here make this place seem like a total dud. But it’s been consistently good to me, so I keep going back!

We eat here the other night. 19 family members in all. The staff was so nice and the food was great. This is a restaurant we will be coming back to eat at.

Visited this week for an early dinner. Dinner rolls and olive oil dipping sauce were delicious. The fun niche here is that you are served in a frying pan. I had the gorganzola with chicken over penne. It was garlicky and had lots of punch. My family had beef tips over linguine. Their dinners were bland. Our waitress was attentive. However, staff was a bit loud and could be overheard from their station. The restaurant overlooks the river which makes for a nice setting. Pricing is not low, but portions are huge.

My friends keep raving about this Restaurant. I was really excited to try it, maybe that was my first mistake. The décor is ok. Seems like it could use a renovation. The food was so sad. One of the rolls is frozen in the middle. That threw me off, I thought for sure their bread would have been home made. I mean its a pasta place. Next the salad had so much vinegar in it, I was unable to eat it. So sour. Ugh. Then the meal itself was just ok. I don’t think they make their pasta. So honesty, I thought this place was WAY to pricey for what I received.

I don’t even know where to begin. I had a horrible experience here! The waitress took forever to come around, our empty glasses stayed stacked on our table the whole night, and the food was mediocre. Their menu states that groups larger than 6 people will automatically incur an 18% gratuity charge. That’s cool. They also claim that they don’t do separate checks. So, being aware of that, our group of 8 just gave our cards to the waitress at the end of the night and said, «You can just split it evenly.» Seems simple enough, right? Nope. Apparently not. According to the waitress, their system crashes if they swipe more than like two cards. Are you serious? It’s pretty much 2015. You won’t do separate checks AND you won’t process multiple cards? Come on! Get it together! As we were finishing up our dinner, we noticed that lights were starting to be turned off. They literally started closing down around us. It was pretty much a «get the hell out» statement. Classy. I can definitively say that none of us had a pleasant experience tonight. I will never go back to this place.

Visited this restaurant on the suggestion of a business associate. Not really impressed. The restaurant has a nice layout but the live music was very loud. Luckily they finished playing half way through our dinner so we could stop shouting at each other. The food was average. I guess the thrill is supposed to be getting your dinner right in the pan. I’ve eaten at other restaurants where pasta was served tableside and the food was way superior(Lidia’s in Pittsburgh any one?). The biggest negative was the service. We sat for at least 15 — 20 minutes before the server even came to take our drink orders. She didn’t make up for the bad first impression either. One positive is that the prices are pretty reasonable.

So I have been a regular of this place for a long time, the food is mediocre at best but it’s close, inexpensive and convenient. My previous experience was a dine in I went out with my boyfriend and another couple we arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday night. We had our meals(served in old beat up pans — never got that«quirky» concept) and wanted a second round of drinks rather than dessert. We were told by basically the WHOLE waitstaff«we close at 10» ok I get that, but that means you stop SEATING tables at 10 not kicking them out at 10 on the dot. It went as far as our waitress asking us to settle our check so she could leave! I was in shock and embarrassed for her. Coming from a long line of service industry myself it was totally unprofessional. This evening I was feeling sick so I wanted to order take out. I called and they put me on hold for 5 minutes. The young girl Lindsey picks up and tells me it’s EXTREMELY busy and can I call back in 15 minutes. Wait? What? Are you kidding me? My boyfriend wanted pasta and it’s close so I called back in the 15 minutes begrudgingly. She answered and asked me to call back in 15 minutes AGAIN! I was ticked I asked to speak with a manager who told me I had waited 10 min to call back(I shouldn’t have had to call back in the first place) and went on to say she was at max cap. Ok so in the 5 minutes spent arguing and repeatedly putting me on hold you could have taken my take out order. She ended up hanging up on me! So unprofessional, rude, and in general my dining experiences here are always TERRIBLE service wise. I will never be back. In a bad economy this place deserves no ones money. Do yourselves a favor and stay far, far away.

Live music and great food? Come on now, what are you waiting for? Let me start with the food: Loved it. My favorite local meal can now be found at Michael’s. Michael’s Teriyaki Alfredo. Essentially their take on «Crazy Alfredo»(first tasted at Carmelina’s in Hadley… oh where have you gone Carmelina’s…). I ask for it to be extra spicy, and it is fantastic. Plenty of apps to choose from. Ordered the Gorgonzola bread, excellent of course. Plenty of room in the restaurant. They have either a live piano player some nights, or even a live band up by the bar area. Service: Could use some improvements. A little slow, seemed like they had a hard time figuring out who would serve our table, as we had three different waitresses(3rd stayed). But could simply be an anomaly. Agawam location: Much larger than the Wilbraham location. Somewhat hidden on the River, but worth the trip. Highly recommend. We will be returning.

I’m torn on this review. I have been here many times. The pasta in a pan is usually great. The teriyaki Alfredo chicken and spicy Mississippi chicken are usually great. The last two time I went they were ehh. They seemed watered down and not done very well. We also ordered a Louie the leg breaker pizza, it’s was bad. Under cooked and soggy. It took the longest to come out. The waitress was amazing, but she kept coming out to apologize for how long it was taking. We did have a larger group of about 10. Maybe that’s why it took long, but we have had large groups in the past. I will still probably go here, but if the next time is not as good as previous it might be a lost cause.
