Alperts Kidz Interiors

It’s so rare these days to find a store that delivers on every level, but this one does. We decided to fix up a room for our grandkids and came in looking for twin platform beds. Our salesman Russ was knowledgeable and helpful, gave us lots of choices and plenty of input to help us make an informed decision. We were given reasonable expectations for the time it would take for the furniture to arrive, regular updates on progress, and a phone call and email confirming the date and time. The delivery was equally painless and pleasant. They even arrived a little EARLY! The delivery guys were extremely professional, assembled the furniture, disposed of all the boxes and plastic wrapping, and were out of the house in a flash. A great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommended!

Buying furniture could not be any easier than at Alpert Kidz. Their staff was amazing, reliable, and accommodating. Plus, I never received furniture so fast as I did buying from AKI. I bought it on a Sunday and it was delivered the following Friday. My 3 year old loves his big boy bed and we couldn’t be happier.

I was able to get my 5 year old kid his dream bed VERY quickly and easily. They were very caring and friendly though he was running around the store like an animal and my own patience with him was wearing thin. They have just about anything you could ask for. They even have cute play house style beds. The one I got was a floor model which was on sale and it was all i could afford but wow it is a real luxurious modern piece. They have awesome deals if you ask me. Not high pressure sales either which is nice. Delivery was free and scheduled quickly for only a couple days later. Oh, the delivery guys — they were quick and polite and even asked if there was a mattress in another room that i wanted them to throw on it. Delivery guys get 5 stars too.

Our younger son was ready to leave the crib and as he’s sharing the bedroom with his older brother we were looking for a safe, efficient, beautiful solution for their room. They are 3yrs and 5 yrs. A friend of us recommended Alperts. We went to the store and we found the solution we were looking for: a toddler bunk bed with few steps to reach the upper level. The price was very fair (we also got a nice discount as we bought it in January) and the service excellent. Installation smooth and professional. Our kids simply LOVE their new bed. Also, as my older son wants me to be closer to him when he falls asleep I climb up with him on the bed… and the structure is super sturdy :-)

Customer service was TERRIBLE! We came in with two of our kids hoping to find a furniture for them. This overweight man looked at us, no greetings and not very welcoming and was on his mobile phone. We strolled around the store not once did he get up to ask if we needed any assistance. It gave me a bad experience. Why invest/​spend a lot money on this store when customer service is very poor! You just lost a customer. No thanks!

We stopped by this place after experiencing disappointment with the quality of beds at pottery barn. This place exceeded our expectations. They have great customer service and will listen to your needs. I Purchased two twin beds for my 3 year and 5 year old boys. In addition, I had them color match the beds with a night stand (see photos posted on Unilocal). They carry great quality beds in stock made out of the USA. However, if you prefer, do as I did and waited 6 weeks for beds made here in downtown LA. I had them deliver and install, which was worth the cost. The delivery crew is friendly and helpful. We have received lots of compliments from our friends. It was a pleasure doing business!

Though it took the entire 6 weeks before arrival, we love it. Everyone was professional, friendly, and cared that we were satisfied. We also bought 2 lamps, a wood sign, and also the mattresses too. We’ll be shopping here again! Thanks to Jeff &team.

We bought a day bed with trundle from Alpert’s for our son about 2 years ago and had a good experience. The staff explained the many options for the details of the bed, and the process of ordering and delivery was smooth. Recently we wanted to replace our daughter’s mattress with the same model we had bought for him, so we called Alpert’s to see if they still carried it. Within minutes I was able to place a phone order and arrange delivery easily, and within a few days we had her new mattress. Russ was very helpful, and we will continue to recommend this store to our friends with kids.

Super nice, professional guys. We have bought 2 beds from Alpert’s, 5 years apart from time of purchase. I would use them again anytime. Installation & de;overy went like clockwork!

We ordered a custom loft bunk bed with stairs. They were very helpful and encouraged us to create a bunk bed that would work for us. The bed was delivered as promised, and was installed rather quickly. The knobs I ordered were not the color I wanted, but they fixed the problem and had the new knobs installed within a few days. They have great products and customer service.

Alpert’s Kidz Interiors was the 2^nd place out of 8 places my wife and I went to over a period of 4 months to find my son a bedroom setup. From the moment we walked in, Rick (owner?) was professional and warm.
He asked us to take a look around and came back to him with specific questions about pricing, delivery, time to delivery, setup, etc. All questions were reviewed and answered to our satisfaction and although we did not buy from him originally, we came back after seeing the quality of furniture offered by other retailers (Ashley, Living Spaces, Macys, Costco, some other smaller places), that were not made in the USA.
Rick did advise that due to the high volume of orders during the summer time, that our order will take approximately 6 weeks to get into his location from the manufacturer. He was in communication when it came in. Russ helped coordinate the delivery and his delivery guys were professional, efficient, and nice.
I am giving Alpert’s Kidz Interiors 5 stars based on customer service, customer experience, follow ups and updates as described.
The quality of product will keep us coming back.

We made a couple of visits, received informed help, didn’t get harassed each time. Bought a great set of bunk beds exactly to our specification, got a small discount, the goods were delivered when they promised and assembled by decent, professional and friendly guys. Really impressed and would definitely go there again!

We bought two sets of loft beds, bookshelves, and drawers from the start to the end we had 100% satisfactorily experience. Our sales person Anika was awesome, the quality of all products are beautiful and sturdy. The delivery and installation which they provided was seamless. Would totally recommend the company and their made in the USA quality products.

We found beautiful and sturdy bedroom furniture for a daughters’ new room. Since they will be sharing, we wanted something that wouldn’t take up a large amount of space and would grow with them. The beds and corner unit we found were nothing like what we had seen elsewhere. We are very happy with the set. The salespeople were attentive and helpful without being pushy. Our purchase was a sale item and a good value too! The furnishings in their room are my favorite!

The reviews of this place are perplexing — it seems you either love them or hate them.
I passed by en route to another shop, and decided to stop and potentially same myself some time. I’m glad I did, because I had a great experience.
Alperts has a good selection and no sales pressure. The guy I dealt with was approachable and unpretentious. The product was just what I was looking for, the price was right, and the delivery team was excellent.
I honestly couldn’t be happier.

Went here because a friend had an awesome experience with them. My experience was similar. Good prices for quality furniture. They are far away from the Westside, where i live, but the delivery fee was fair.

This was the 2^nd furniture store that we went to, to try and buy furniture for our daughter’s room. Our daughter had outgrown the toddler bed and was ready for some «big girl» furniture — bed and dresser. I had specific ideas about what I wanted — a captain’s bed with the trundle AND drawers. It was easy to find a trundle OR drawers, but not both, and not in a white finish (to match the other pieces in her room).
Long story short — we bought furniture from another kid’s furniture store (in Burbank — don’t go there). After waiting 8 weeks for it to arrive (I was told 4 weeks), multiple unreturned calls to find out when it would be delivered. When the furniture finally did arrive, there was only the bed not the dresser and the bed was minus the trundle and it was obviously a floor model, all dinged up and filled in spots (I did not agree to a floor model). We were fed up and after multiple repeated conversations with the manager, we finally got our money back. That is the BEST thing I could say about the store, is that after telling them we would involve the credit card company, the manager finally agreed to give our money back.
We drove out to Agoura from the LA area a little bit nervous about trying this again. Alperts has lots of selection and styles, and most of the furniture is custom made locally (go USA) of solid wood with press board only for the drawer interior, etc. Many of the pieces can be finished in a variety of colors and finishes. We chose an off white finish.
The furniture styles are appropriate for everything from baby to toddler, kids and even teens. There are a lot of unique styles, and I found my unicorn — trundle with drawers, and a matching dresser.
The prices were not the cheapest, but neither were they the absolute highest. Delivery was $ 125 total even though we were about 40 miles from the store/​warehouse. The best part — they said it would be 8 weeks for delivery, and it arrived in perfect condition within 5 weeks.
My daughter LOVES her new big girl room — thanks to Alperts. It’s worth the drive if you’re not local like us.

(UPDATE: The owner has just contacted me. He is interested in discussing his staff and what can be done to improve their customer relations. I just want to say that I think this speaks well of him.)
It was very interesting reading these reviews for this store, especially the bad ones. While I have visited this store on two occasions I will admit that I have not bought anything from them. Frankly, their high prices and the off-​putting attitude of their clerks caused me to leave both times.
That said, they did have some nice kids’ furniture. Alas, I chose to buy elsewhere.

This is the worst furniture store. They have such a terrible customer service. We ordered a bed for our daughter almost 2 mos ago (Oct 23 to be exact), NOTHING. Its almost Xmas. The manager doesnt make any effort to satify customer. Doesnt really care. I will NEVER buy from this store again. Beware, they say they take pride of their product being «MADE in USA», but its not. Its still made outsie US (Mexico– as per sales attendant). Very POOR customer serice!

We sincerely –loved– our shopping experience at Alperts Kidz Interiors. The salesperson, Annika, was super helpful. On our request, she even came over to our home to give us a free evaluation as to what items we could actually fit in our home (without making it look like a furniture store). We highly recommend working with Annika — she is usually there at the store on Thursdays and Fridays and Saturdays.
Rick (the owner) was really pleasant to deal with, and even gave us a fantastic deal (even though he said he doesn’t usually negotiate).
The delivery staff, Enrique and Jaime, were really professional, and did a great, clean job of installing the items we bought in our son’s new bedroom.
We strongly recommend this store — in the Conejo Valley, this place is –the– place to shop for your kids’ furniture.
