Just had a very pleasant experience with Roadside Lumber. Their delivery driver, Tony, was prompt, friendly and helpful and my sales person Maurice McGill at the store was also attentive to my needs and thoughtful.

They call them selves a lumber store?
They have a saw– I saw it working
The smallest piece of plywood they have is 4 X 8. I asked them to cut it in half so I can fit it into my car.
They said they couldn’t cut it and then made a joke about me buying a thousand dollar saw.
Real funny!
I would never go back here. Arrogant jerks!
I went up the street to DIY home center and although not the best store either, they were at least able to help me out

I’m here a couple times a week and it never disappoints! Chris and his staff always greet me with a smile and are happy to help out with whatever I’m looking for at the time. For a seemingly small place they have alot to offer and if they don’t have something they are not hesitant to point me in the right direction. I feel good when I shop there and am buying locally.

I used to love this place. Always willing to help and able to do custom work and order anything you need. Then I recently called and asked for something specific. Instead of help, I got a snide response. I guess it is back to Lowe’s.

These guys are gems. They have a great selection of lumber, know their stuff and are super friendly. Sometimes even funny. I like to go here and help keep the little guys in the game. The big box guys will always have a crowd but good luck with service at your big box shop.
