I have been riding and showing horses for most of my life. I’ve worked with many different trainers all over the country in a number of different disciplines, competing at the national level, and Diane is hands down the best trainer I have ever worked with. I initially found Diane when I wanted to learn to jump for the collegiate equestrian team. She teaches jumping from a dressage point of view, so the rider learns how to be secure in their seat and communication with the horse, as opposed to just going along for the ride. In two summers I went from never jumping in my life to being able to safely jump 4 ft. fences and be comfortable on almost any horse. I am now riding dressage with Diane and I have learned more in a few years riding with her than I have in over a decade with other trainers. Her teaching style is very straightforward and honest, and she knows when to push forward, when to change tactics, and when to step back, which is so rare in any type of instruction. Diane is truly a world class instructor and trainer, if you are looking for a place to ride don’t hesitate to call her!
