Regardless of the negative reviews we truly enjoyed the natural beauty of the place. The people that work there are great! Very welcoming and helpful. We played here many years ago before the drought when The lakes were full of water but over all we truly enjoyed our golf time. I think they are doing pretty good at trying to keep up the greens.

Husband has been coming up here for years. VERY disappointed this year. Although he found out he did receive a discounted price of $ 65(down from $ 75) for a weekday… well, with that money can’t you at least fix the golf carts so they aren’t falling apart? Literally, the seat was falling off the cart! Lunch is overpriced, and to wait ½ hour for a simple ham and cheese sandwich is crazy(she ‘forgot’ about the order while she was grilling hamburgers for the 2 people that came in after him). Where are the marshalls that should be out there? The 3some in front of my husband, who was playing alone, wouldn’t let him play thru because they were ‘almost done’…so after more than 3 hours of play, he just quit. And yet they call themselves a championship course. Maybe the owners need to come down to where I live to see what a true championship course is.

Complete track. Squirrel holes in fairways, uncut rough and much deferred maintenance. Have played better municipal courses. The greens receive all the water and they are like putting on sponges. Despite multiple specials the cranky counter guy charged full rate. Do not make the trip.

This golf course is a hidden gem. I played there last Saturday around 3:00pm for $ 30 with cart. Surprisingly, there weren’t a lot of people so I ended up teeing off by myself. I finished my round in 3 and a half hours which was extremely fast for a weekend considering I only passed a foursome. this is definitely not a walking course since there are so many hills and elevated tee boxes. The greens are well maintained and the fairways are up to par. The rough was pretty long and tough when I played which made it more challenging. There are three par 3’s in the front 9 which all have elevated tees. and three par 5’s. One of the par 3’s, which is about 177 yards from the back tees, has a lake in front of the green. It looks like an island green when you tee off from the elevated tee box. The back 9 is a little more flat except for a couple of holes. Overall, it was a good round of golf at such a great value.
