AC Florist

Received this Get Well bouquet two days ago. Beautiful and well put together by AC Florist. Thank you to my friends and AC Florist for putting a smile on my face!

I must say, if I experience bad service, I will not hesitate to let management know. Sometimes when we get excellent service, we don’t even think about letting people know. I wanted to Unilocal about the awesome service we had with AC florist. Not only once, but twice.
Sometime last year, I decided at the very last minute to order a haku lei for my daughter’s championship game. Of course it was that night. I sent my husband to AC, since it was close to my hair salon. They didn’t have any at the shop, but the owner said he will go to Chinatown to pick one up. We had to wait an hour. Awesome!!!
Couple of weeks ago, I preordered two more haku leis. One for senior soccer night and the second one was for my daughter’s NLI signing day. Again, I sent my husband to pick up the haku for the signing day. I asked him if he could check to see if they had leis for her other teammates. AC had enough flowers for 4 leis but told him to check Times downstairs. He went downstairs and luckily they had 2 leis. When he went back upstairs, AC was finishing up the leis and even asked to see the Times lei. They noticed there were no ribbon, so they added it! Awesome, awesome experience! Though AC is a little far from our home in Mililani, AC will be our go to florist for all occasions! I highly recommend them! THANK YOU AC FLORIST!

Came in and purchased some flowers and a lei. This place is amazing. The lady who works there made sure that my flowers were perfect before I left. Even replaced some of the flowers and added more to make it look fuller. Great service!

Of course I procrastinated (again!) in ordering a bouquet for my son’s winter banquet. Thanks to fellow Unilocalers’ reviews and photos I gave this place a try, and am sure glad I did.
Considering that wristlets cost $ 30 – 60, the prom bouquet I ordered only cost a little more and had a dozen beautifully arranged roses in it. And on short order, too!
The couple who run the shop are very cute and seemed concerned about doing their best for their customers, including carefully packing the bouquet so it would stay fresh. The owner even shared some of their cookies with me, how nice! AC Florist is a great shop to buy flowers for special occasions.

The lady provided excellent customer service. She went above and beyond rejuvenating the bouquet of flowers I specifically wanted. If I could I would give this place more than 5 stars. I went in there. She had twin things in the fridge already made, one was a week old but still in good condition. I originally chose the other fresher one but when I caught a glance at the other I instantly wanted that one. (It included lilies so I preferred it more already). She spent an extra 15 – 20 minutes making it fresh again. Adding new flowers. Taking away the old ones. Even gave me ten dollars off for it being a week old. But not only that. The best part was the fact I still have her the original price plus more and told her to keep the change because of how thankful I was. She then added another fresh flower (white rose) free of charge. I almost cried because I’m a very giving person and seeing people so sweet and giving brings a joy to my heart, especially since I’m in the military I appreciate stuff like that on a daily. Hopefully the lady in which I bought the flowers for likes them but if not I know where I’ll be purchasing flowers from now on for any other lucky lady.

Don’t believe the other Unilocal reviews! I don’t know why I read the other reviews and listened. This lady does not understand what you want. She calls you like 10 times, she texts you 10 times, she sends a pic 3 days before the event, but DOES NOT LISTEN!
My favorite Auntie passed away, the Unilocal reviews told me to go with this florist. I asked for one funeral arrangement with a lot of flowers. This florist just sent whatever she wanted and charged me 1.5 times what other places wanted and gave me the smallest arrangement ever.
I am SO embarrassed!!!
I wanted a flower arrangement that really spoke to the meaning of my auntie — not this! Please don’t listen to the Unilocal hype! Read this post and be aware!

Okay, after letting it sink in (how much I overpaid!!) for a few days, and after buying a beautiful $ 5 promo rose bouquet of 5 roses from Safeway, I am officially disgusted that I was so steeply overcharged. Any positive aspects of the purchase are wiped out by the ridiculously overpriced bill.
I stopped by the flower shops in Chinatown; nearly identical bouquet pre made in fridge for $ 26, she said she would sell for 20! At AC Flowers I paid $ 55+tax, $ 58! I do NOT recommend this place, unless you love to be overcharged.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE ADORABLE!!!
Okay here will be what I hope is a helpful and succinct review of this biz.
Summary: yes I do recommend. I personally am unlikely to return because I live in Hawaii Kai, but mostly it was too rich for my tastes (costly).
This biz is on the same level of the separate, (apparently three level) aiea heights shopping center. Basically— you go to the level with the landmark McDonald’s and you’re in the right place. It’s right next to ‘808 vapez’ under the parking structure.
(On an unrelated matter: I was unhappy to see the historic landmark McDonald’s lose its prominent playground! It’s been there my whole life! Sorry to get sidetracked)
DSR:
1. Value of goods for cost: 1.5÷5
I always had thought of myself as ‘frugal’ (ahem… «Cheap»… But I heard a different term on the radio today that is on point: «PAKE!» (sorry, I don’t know proper spelling? Pronounced PAH-​KAY)
2. Quality of goods (without the cost as a factor:)
Probably 3.5÷5. However if I had gotten the same arrangement for 35, even $ 40, I would have likely rated it 4.5÷5! I was really unhappy with how much she charged me up front!
3. Customer service– INDEPENDENT of the displeasure at laying such a steep price tag, pretty good. If I don’t consider the cost, likely a 4 – 4.5÷5
I ordered the flowers at 7:46 am, first in shop. Told her the occasion, and what I had in mind, I must have looked like an easy mark… She went to the cash register and rang up $ 55+tx, like $ 58!!! I swear my stomach did a triple flip. I begrudgingly paid in cash, reminding myself of their stellar reviews, and the fact that I had been raked over the coals in parking fees over the previous 24 hours: $ 40 combined to park in less than a day!!! OMFG but that’s an unrelated (messed up) matter. (Btw, anyone who wants to class action sue the pagoda hotel parking B.S. Company – I’m in! Msg me!)
Took from 8 am to 4 on for the flowers to be ready to be picked up. They were cute, but I couldn’t get the bad taste at the steep price tag out of my mind. I glanced in the fridge, and there were 2 very nice pre-​made arrangements for roughly $ 25 each, which were very comparable with the number of flowers! That didn’t help my dissatisfaction with being charged $ 70 for almost the same thing!)
Tye good? –flowers were good. The bad? The cost was outrageously high!
The adorable?
The sweet old couple had been secretly PDAing in the shop when I picked up the flowers, reminiscent of the «IT couples» in high-​school! It was so freakin cute!

Came here expecting to buy something premade. The older man insisted the owner could make something from scratch. I hesitated because I didn’t want to be a pain but she came in (she was walking around) and she made something quickly for my bf’s sister who gave birth that day. Everything came out so beautiful. It’s hard for me to believe that she made that right there just for me. I’d highly recommend. Next time I need an arrangements, I’ll be sure to order ahead of time so I don’t feel bad

I needed to order a wreath for my uncle’s funeral and decided to go with AC Florist based on the great Unilocal reviews. I’m glad I did! The owner was very friendly and personable and helped me decide on a nice wreath. They are located at the Aiea Shopping Center (a floor below Aiea Bowl) and have convenient store hours. I highly recommend this florist and will return for any future purchases!

They made the most beautiful wreaths I’ve ever seen. .I wanted something special for my husband’s funeral. .they’ve exceeded any expectations I had. Everyone complemented their wreaths, it was like no Putney they have ever seen. And they did it from just looking at a picture!

Being the only 5-​star rated florist on Unilocal in the area, I decided to give them a go. They did NOT disappoint! They took 2 dozen roses and created the most beautiful arrangement I’ve ever had the opportunity to give to someone I love so much! The detail in crafting that this florist puts into their work is truly second to none. I would love to do business with them again for any occasion that calls for flower arrangements of any sort.

Yun and her husband did an AWESOME job!!! We showed her pictures of the style of arrangements we wanted and let her husbands creativity go to work, minus the roses of course. That was the only flower we did not want to see. I only have screen shots of the example given for them to work with but, you can see what a great job they did.

I called yesterday for a delivery for today.
Spoke with the owner on the phone and she was very sweet and accommodating. She had me text her the recipient’s name and address and an idea of what I wanted.
She said she’d text me a pic before delivery and then she called after the texts to see if i liked the outcome. I got another call from the delivery guy bc no one was home. I said he could leave it at the door and so he hid it behind a column on the porch, cute ^^
It came out well judging from the pictures. My mom was very happy with the outcome as well.
I really appreciate them staying in communication and being very easy to do business with, great customer service :)

Great service from a very nice couple. They gave me extra special attention when I walked in. I ordered a bouquet for my sons prom. It came out really beautiful & I would definitely order from here again for all different occasions. Can’t wait to place my next order.

Very happy with the arrangement I got for my Mom’s birthday. I told the lady on the phone that my mom doesn’t like a lot of roses but she loves sunflowers and bright cheery flowers. They made sure to include sunflowers and bright flowers and some nice roses too. I counted at least 11 roses in my arrangement and at least five big sunflowers. AC Florists did such an excellent job and for a great price. They worked with my budget and the time frame I gave them. I’ve ordered from other florists in the Aiea and Pearl City area but from now on I’ll only be ordering from AC. What I liked most was that they texted me pictures when the arrangement was finished. I was able to see what my mom would be greeted with at work. I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer.

The Honolulu florist I’d been using the past few years to send my mom birthday flowers at work closed recently and I was left searching for a *local* florist that delivers out to West Oahu. None of the big-​name florists will deliver to Kapolei, and I didn’t want to use any of the companies that are Teleflora outlets because of horror stories I’ve heard about the end product not matching the online catalog.
I came across the great Unilocal reviews for AC Florist. I saw they make the cute flower puppies and wanted to include that in an arrangement. Called them to ask if they deliver to Ko Olina. The man said they do and asked what I needed. Then he asked me to text all the details — budget, flower type, delivery location, card message, etc., which I appreciated since they’d have my exact instructions in writing versus over the phone.
His wife called right back to confirm my text order and take my credit card information. She asked if we could delay delivery by one day because she would be getting a new batch of fresh blooms and wanted to use the freshest flowers for the arrangement. I agreed.
The next day she texted me a photo of the finished product and a copy of my receipt. The flowers were prefect! And most importantly my mom was so happy when they arrived! I’ll definitely use them again!

Thank you A.C. Florist for this amazing puppy flower arrangement! I called to place an order and within an hour it was ready for delivery! Staff is very helpful and quick! I asked for red roses with a puppy… The staff texted me a picture of the finished product and I was speechless to see that it was 10x better than what I imagined it to be. The colors and the details were perfect! Every single part of the arrangement was high quality! I have ordered puppy flowers from other florist but this is the best one so far! I will definitely order flowers again. It was worth every penny! Best $ 50 ever spent! Minimum purchase of $ 50 in order for them to deliver. I had them deliver within a 6 mile radius and it was only $ 10. I am one very happy customer :)

Came in to this quaint store looking for a floral arrangement for Mom’s Day. I left with a beautiful creation by the sweet lady who owns this place. The arrangement was beyond my expectations, and she even added more flowers than I wanted at no extra cost! The owner (sorry I forgot her name) was so helpful and creative, and her prices are comparable to/​and even below some other florists that I’ve been to before. I definitely plan on coming back, and you should pay her a visit as well!

I needed to buy a floral arrangement so looked for somewhere recommended and ended up at AC Florist. I know the parking can get bad at Aiea Shopping Center but I lucked out and found a stall in the 20 minute parking area.
There were a handful of pre-​made arrangements to choose from and most seemed to be in the $ 35 – 50 range. I’m sure she can make others depending on your budget and taste. There were also assorted baskets, vases and ceramic vases available on display that I’m guessing you could choose from for a customized arrangement.
The service was great, the owner was very polite. She even took the time to put my arrangement in a special box so that it wouldn’t tip over during transportation.
AC Florist is located in the Aiea Shopping Center, 2^nd floor — the same floor as McDonalds (1 floor below Aiea Bowl, 1 floor above Times).
