Aiea Medical Building

Ever since this place started charging for parking a few years ago, I’m just discouraged from coming here. I mainly come to this facility because I love my dentist and her office.
The parking staff here and the situation is the worst part of coming here. There have been many times where it can take ten minutes to exit the parking structure because people don’t know how to park or drive. If the parking attendants got off their chairs and helped people reverse out or direct thru traffic so people can exit, it would be much more easier for people to leave. Instead, they just sit and watch for their own amusement. Charging $ 1 for every half hour for this is ridiculous.
You can avoid paying the fee if you park on the side street ewa of the building. Just watch out for the ditches because my friend got her car stuck in it one time.

I love my doctor here so I venture from town but west side traffic is horrendous and I’ve been in car accidents coming to or from these appointments.
this last visit I showed up just on time from town and then… NO parking?! and the whole lot is one way so I couldn’t do another loop?! I didn’t want to exit and then have to turn left into the lot again (that street is a nightmare!) I didn’t know what to do so I called my doc office and they said there’s a magical extra lot! that’s where I see people walking from some times, when you’re going to turn left Into the medical building, go up father and take the left after (RIGHT before the bridge, there’s a tiny sign) and go to the lot straight ahead. stop by the desk on your way to the building and get a ticket– cash only on your way back to the car or you have to take the ticket to the lobby (which has a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of the debit/​credit card machine being down and you needing to pay a ridiculous fee to use the ATM at the pharmacy).
bring cash and arrive early.

The parking here, like everyone else says, is horrific. And the parking attendant on top of that is extremely rude. I’m more than willing to switch my dr to a more accessible building, than have to deal with this headache before having to go to the Drs. What a mess.

Coming here used to be terrifying… just because it either meant doctor or dentist time… ok sometimes it is still daunting.
But what makes it worse is the parking situation. It’s always been bad but this constant switching of how the parking validation/​payment works is ridiculous. Basically a lot of money was wasted on an automated system… and now it’s just back to how it used to be. Prices are also higher – $ 1 per half hour – really AMB?
Best piece of advice – get dropped off… or chance the 10 min grace period haha.

WTF is up with the damm parking attendants. I get my tickets with those 30 min stickers on it from my doctor and paying fluctuates. $ 1 — $ 3. Yesterday I got 3 — 30 min stickers and I was only there for 1 hr and 15 mins and that stupid guy tells me $ 3. WTF he is probably pocketing the money stupid idiot.

My doctors office is in here. Parking is horrid! The valet double parking stuff that goes on… what is that?
I do like the fast food place on the first floor. My mom would always buy me a slushie after a doctors appointment. It’s convenient because the pharmacy is on the first floor and they always have medication in stock.
