Pizza was really sub par this time. I waited for them to cook a new pie to get my plain slice. Came out overdone to the point that the crust was more or less burnt. I have cuts in my mouth from the sharp bits of burnt crust. Worst part is i saw them look under the pie after they made it and still deemed it acceptable to sell. I am left unsatisfied.

We love the pizza here! The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce is amazing. They have a bunch of different toppings.

Pizza here is hands down awesome. You can see them preparing it from your table as well. For about $ 7, you can get two slices and they’re HUGE! Believe me, your hungry, seeing eyes won’t be disappointed. Also, one can order a custom pizza, which is a pretty great deal.

Worse pizza I’ve ever had… and I’m comparing this to cheap pizza chains. First of all there was literally a tablespoon of cheese per slice. This meant the cheap pepperoni wouldn’t even stick. Toppings all just fell off. Of course this was also because the crust was super soggy. Thin, soggy and undercooked. I seriously don’t understand how this place has such high reviews. Dominos is better and that’s not saying a lot. This is seriously on my never ever again list, and possibly going onto my give me my money back list.

Bad Service… Tried calling them a few times, they picked up and then hung up. Obviously they do not want any customers.

So I normally wouldn’t hit up a pizza place in Hawaii but my local coworker raved about this place and we were short on time for lunch. We arrived close to 1PM and the lunch crowd was long gone. We ordered and received our slices in 10 minutes form walking in the door. I have enjoyed pizza from all over the US and love east coast pizza — the dough is what makes the pizza special on the left coast. I was surprised at how good their pizza crust was. Their pizza made me imagine I was in Boston and ordering up a slice. The sauce was tangy and the cheese was plentiful but not overwhelming. The toppings were are very good from the tasty pepperoni, fresh mushrooms to the black olives. I love parmesan cheese so added some for my own benefit and taste. The slice was really large! I only had 1 but was very fulfilled. I was going to order 2 but my coworker told me that would be way too much — boy was he right. I was really happy with our lunch and looking forward to the next slice on my next visit to Hawaii. They have lots of cool memorabilia from back in Boston which adds to the laid back ambience. They have won over the locals and the transplants which in itself is a major accomplishment. Their prices are really good as we paid $ 13 for 2 slices and 2 drinks. Not too may places in Oahu where you can have a good meal for 2 people for that price. A really awesome Mom and Pop place so if in the area well worth the stop.

I bought a coupon some time ago and finally had a chance to use it last weekend. We stopped in after spending the day on the west shore. Oh how I wish I’d known it’s BYOB… sigh. We had a bacon, spinach, pepperoni, and, I think, garlic«white» pizza. Excellent. However, next time I’d go with red sauce since the«white» really means no sauce(I was thinking it would have had a cream-based sauce). Regardless, the pizza was very tasty. The pies are kinda expensive when compared to other places. But … they are ginormous and very tasty. After JJ Dolan’s this is our number 2 pizza place on the island.

Boston’s pizza is simple, no nonsense greatness! My favorite pizza place on the island. Handmade, thinner style pizza with quality ingredients is the secret to their success. This place has a comfy ambiance to it. Not a lot of fluff to anything here. There’s an oven, a pizza prep area, a display case for pizzas, a cashiers spot, and a few tables in the place. There are always other people here, so I’m not the only one who enjoys this place! You can order pizza by the slice or by the whole. Pizza slices are huge, so if you’re going to offer more than 3 slices, just get a whole pizza. Prices are based on how many toppings you get. It’s kind of expensive, but worth every penny! Plus, discounts for military make it a big hit with service men and women. Boston’s is a paper plate and cup kind of place, and they have Parmesan cheese, peppers, and other seasonings available in shakers. BONUS: the one drawback to this place was it always felt like an oven in there! I’m very happy to report that they have installed a/c units in their store so it is now much more comfortable for everyone! Great job Boston’s!

Two slices of pizza per person, a drink each… total $ 28. 52. WTF?!? I thought at the counter… until we got back to our table with the pizzas and I saw how HUGE the slices were. OH, so basically we ordered like 4 slices of pizza per person… which makes basically an entire pie… oh duh… Yeah, we learned our lesson. BUT this place was rocking! They were so darn busy that they had lines out to the door from the moment we walked in. Which was lucky because we got a table without issue. As we were finishing some people were stalking other tables. its like, geez, let the people finish at least! The pizzas were good, but some of the pizzas were a little sparse on the sauce. Like the cheese pizza slices. Tasty and I loved the crust but the tomato sauce… where did it go? Still, we enjoyed our slices and will definitely be back for more. We’ll probably ask them for some sauce on the side. Other than that, my last suggestion would be that you get a dedicated phone line for doing your credit card transactions. Having the phone line for incoming orders and the credit card processing is pretty bad business. Each time the phone rang it would interrupt the credit card transaction. And I’d suggest you get someone to handle your phones at the busiest times like Friday and Saturday nights to take your orders… it was a bit chaotic there behind the counter.

Finally made it to Boston’s after I’d been meaning to go for months. My husband and I ordered 4 different pizza slices. The slices are in the display case but they pop ‘em in the oven to heat them so they’re piping hot and yummy for you. The slices are ginormous — I’m pretty sure each slice is ¼ of the pizza. They do not skimp on the garlic at all — which if you love garlic like me, is a wonderful thing!

From the second you walk into Boston’s you feel the amazing Ohana atmosphere. The store is very clean and organized. The smell of pizza filled the air. Everyone that works there is very friendly and professional. We went in during lunch hour when it was filled with our dedicated service men and women, and even then we got our pizza quickly. there’s a large selection of pizzas already, or special ordered pizza. They have also added a new collection called calzones yummy. What was really amazing to me was when I walked in one of the female workers was flipping the dough it was really a sight to see. I mean where else have you gone into a pizza place and seen them flipping dough there in front of you it was pretty awesome. All in all I don’t always eat pizza but when I do I go to Bostons Aiea and see Bernadette. Aloha Melina

Wow. Impressive. I’m not much of a pizza eater but had a craving and this pizza is perfect. I checked in and got $ 1 off my slice of pizza. That was awesome. I wish more businesses did that!!! I had the pepperoni, mushroom and olive pizza. It was SOOOOO good, and HUGE! It was enough for two people.(But I didn’t share, I’m saving it for breakfast) It was REALLY busy in here as well, but surprisingly it was fast service! Love this place… I’ll definitely be back… soon!

Came in just before close the other night after drinking copious amounts of liquor and beer. They weren’t making any pizza pies but they had a bunch of slices left. My wife recognized the healthful qualities of one of the pies available and decided to get 4 slices to go. Time moves faster when you’re drinking, so I truthfully can’t estimate how fast it took to make, but it seems like it was really fast. I remember taking pictures inside the place and getting lots of crushed red peppers to go. The Boston pizza I had in Kailua was quite a bit different in quality to this pizza. This pizza had a crunchier(no sogginess) consistency and everything seemed to go a lot better on it. The vegetables weren’t sliding off and the pizza was holding together until the last bite. This is how pizza is made, Jersey style based off how the Romans used to make it before battle. This place is much more superior in taste to the other location in Kailua and they were kind to even stay open slightly after closing to cook people the rest of their pizza. And the pizza was spicy because I put a very large amount of crushed red peppers on it. But this was by my own hand.

Boston’s North End is our family’s number one go to when I run out of time in the day and am unable to cook dinner. It’s also our first pizza choice when the cravings hit. I love the laid back atmosphere of the restaurant. The service is pretty fast. I always get the spinach, garlic pizza and add tomatoes and extra cheese. So delicious. They also have where after seven pizza pies have been bought your eighth is free. They don’t deliver to our house, but they are so good that we don’t mind driving to pick up. We hope they will deliver out to where we are in the future.

Id give a 5 star if I’d receive a little better service. otherwise, this is the bestest pizza! Always call in your order, if you don’t mind waiting. I called mines in & it was 35 minutes til my order is ready. I was early when I got to Boston, Luckily they share the same lot as Tamura, so of course I made a stop before picking up my order. ;0) & Boston is all about the pizza! so I got a Large.(very huge pizza) half and half. I like that we are allowed to do half & half. its so good to have a variety. My half was spinach, mushroom, & garlic.(the bestest!!) & was debating on what to get for the other half. — ham & …&… ok, pineapples. (trying to get a choice where my son can enjoy) & I forgot he likes pineapples now so this was perfect. Last thing to mention about the pizza, I always save the crust for last, save the best for last. The crust is perfect and crisp. & Per Lyla D. «its not too thick and not too thin but just right!!» I picked up this pizza for Mother’s day dinner– for family members who are not too crazy for Chinese food. The pizza was the 1st to go & luckily I had a slice. Everyone said the pizza was good! Yes, I agree! I love Boston’s North End Pizza Bakery! & we all do!(LOL) Been here a few times & I can’t wait to be back for more! This pizza cost a little over 28.00. If you have a few to feed, request for smaller slices. * you get a Unilocal deal for checking in to Boston. =) 1.00 off a slice of pizza. Yes! Go get your pies now!

Sometimes convenience plays a part of what I eat. Tamura’s next door? Grab wine and poke. Go in Boston’s grab a slice of pizza for my daughter and sometimes myself. I love the fact that they have many different options by the slice because I’m apparently the only one with amazing taste buds in my family.(I didn’t used to be 121 lbs heavier by not eating) I know good food, I know good pizza and this place is great. Try anything with garlic, even if your on a date, it’s worth it(and I kinda roll that way). Pros: ample parking shared with Tamura’s

So, I was pretty excited to try the Boston special after reading the reviews. I placed an order for takeout, and picked it up with no problem. I had a groupon which they honored, and redeemed from my mobile device. My sweetie and I took it to the car, and we each took a slice to eat before we drove off the lot lol. Pepperoni, onions, olives, green peppers, red sauce and cheese greeted us in our mouths. The pie was beautifully put together. It was a rainbow of colors. The taste was nice and flavorful. They did not skimp on the vegetables which was great! The cons would be that there was a lot of dough. The sauce and cheese given was unbalanced. Vegetables such as the peppers and onions released liquids that contributed to the sogginess of our slices. That dampened our experience a bit. Honestly though, I would still come back and try their other pies. :)

We actually come here quite often because of the convenience factor. Sometimes we just don’t want to cook lunch or dinner and pizza is the answer. Bostons has cleaned up the place with their AC. I don’t know how the workers were able to manage making pizza before but it used to be so hot in there. Now if we wanted to, we could actually eat inside with the cool air. Overall, they have a nice selection of toppings. My favorite is the Boston special but I also like to try their different topping combinations they sometimes offer. Only thing missing here is nicer furniture that is a little more comfty and some music playing in the background.

With so many new pizza joints opening up in downtown and other parts of Honolulu, I almost forgot where to get a pie on days I’m escaping town. Thank goodness my parents keep me grounded and remind me about the good ol Boston’s Pizza option. The process is quite simple. Pick your slice and get it heated. Each slice is a quarter of an entire pie. Cut it in half or quarters if you like munching from tip to crust, or fold it in half if you like having to open wide. This pizza parlor stays true to its main product: pizza. You won’t find breadsticks and other add ons on their menu, but that’s because they do pizza so well. Pizza has become synonymous with fast food with the countless coupons and promotions to draw customers to one of the major delivery companies. But Boston’s stays true to its prices and does not hide behind gimmicks to draw its customers. What you see is what you get. The math of ordering your own pizza at Boston’s: Order a 19″ pie and check in to Unilocal to get $ 1 off. You can mix flavors and keep your price steady according to how many toppings you get(e.g. Spinach and garlic with sausage and bell pepper = 2 topping pizza). Under $ 28 to feed 4 adults. Not cheap, but certainly worth the price for non-greasy and freshly made to order pizza.
