Carlos’ Performance Guitars

I met Carlos by chance today as I wandered though the Harbor Center in Aiea, HI. I was looking to purchase a case for my Autistic son’s piano keyboard so that we could transport it to the mainland with us on the plane. I was running out of places to search, and my son was running low on patience… He ran straight to Carlos’ keyboard display and happily played a song or two while the adults «talked story». When Carlos heard what I needed, he said «oh shoots I can get you a perfect box from my buddy»…10 min later a guitar shipping box arrived that fit the dimensions of the keyboard perfectly! It even had the packing material still inside. He wouldn’t accept any money for it. I loved the church music he had playing in the background, and his child had drawn an «I love Jesus» sign displayed proudly behind the cash register.
