Granted I know I’m doing this a bit late, but I used to work at this store. I would have done this earlier if I knew we actually had a Unilocal page! But in all actuality I don’t think I should be doing this… but oh well! A review from the worker’s point of view is always nice in my opinion. The two years of my working there, I enjoyed meeting every single customer that came to order from us. A lot of them had some really funny or «awkward moment» stories that they shared with us. The elderly customers that were there every morning to buy sodas from us would always ask how we were doing and they would usually know us all by name. To me, early mornings with those customers always made my day a bit better. During the day we would get the special needs group that would always order the same things, and they would usually give us small little Nicky-nacky things as thank you gifts. We would usually, if they couldn’t get to us, take the food out to them and make sure they’re happy with their order. As a shift manager previously myself, I always made sure that everyone was happy when they got their food. I do apologize for certain workers because of either their attitudes or what have you. I do know that the other shift leader that we had a problem with didn’t like taking orders from military wives, she’s said it herself, but I will not name names because then I’m just throwing her under the bus. All in all, I want to say thank you to every single customer that we’ve ever served, the good the bad the silly and the odd. You guys did make any bad work day into a great one. The previous owner also wanted to thank all of our customers but that’d probably take a long time. But for the ten years that this store was around, there was never a time that we wanted to give up. You guys made it possible for us to keep such a tiny little thing running with all our power. Thank you guys for everything! We’ll never forget any of you(:

CLOSED… We actually visited this place about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday… they refused my husband’s coupon so my husband turned around and went to Charley’s… they said they weren’t taking coupons at this time!!! WTH? Fast forward to last night… there was NOCARL’s JR! There was no sign it even existed… except on the outdated mall map…

Since I don’t eat burgers when I go to Carl’s Jr, I get some variation of their chicken sandwich. From what I can tell, these chicken sandwiches are much like their burgers. That is to say they are all sloppy, ooey, gooey, sticky, delicious messes!

Good food for fast food. Their burgers offers a great variety of topping, making it a lot juicier than other burger joints.

Dear Carls Jr., Yours is one of the few fast food joints we patronize as we are trying to veer off of the road to obesity. I must say, your burgers are pretty dang good and I love your heaping serving of crunchy onion rings. Plus, your chicken stars seem like they’re actually made out of chicken and possibly almost nourishing my little people in their own deep fried way. Anyhoo… If you weren’t already aware of this, you have an employee named Alex. He hadn’t accounted for my spicy chicken sandwich coupon, but I failed to notice. However, he realized his error and brought my refund out to me at my table! Yes, he gets minus one for forgetting the coupon, but plus ten for having the integrity to correct his unnoticed mistake and bring my cash out to me with an apology. The following week for reasons illogical to the female mind, my husband selected a table in the boonies and I couldn’t tell if our order was done or not. But good ol’ Alex came trotting out with our food and when we asked for extra ketchup for our little ketchup fiends he gave us a whole handful. That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Now keep in mind we are not in an enclosed Carls Jr., we are in a ghetto-ish food court so it is amazing that not once, but twice this fellow has shown up table side. Your are receiving four stars because, other than Alex’ amazing performance, your customer service leaves something to be desired. Your other workers are kind of scary but we’ll be back. You should consider making Alex a manager before he gets hired away by a real restaurant with waiters. Sincerely, Angela

GOOD — These burgers are no joke. And the fries are better here than most burger joints; just the right amount of crispy and salty. BAD — The employees, namely the illegal immigrants working the grill, need more customer service training. How do you say«smile more» in Tagalog? Also, the prices are a bit steep for burgers and fries… but you do get what you pay for. DISH1: GUACAMOLEBACONSIXDOLLARBURGER — Hearty. A little heavy on the veggies, but the giant patty and guacamole flavor balance it well.

I’m pissed at you Kahala Mall( ). I’m totally irritated that you replaced my beloved double western bacon cheese burger with another fast food sushi joint! Down with yuppie Jersey Shore beatnicks with their pink polo shirts and upturned collars. That’s reason for a downgrade in stars right there, KM. Not cool at all. Additionally, you added an Arby’s and subtracted Carlos Jr. and their chili cheese fries?! C’mon! C’…MON! So, now you either make me travel over the Lake of Salt to the ghetto mall or eat at a gas station where weird guys stare at you while getting their slurpees which afterwards they may be on their way to take a wizz. Hmm, I think I’ll have to pick Pearlridge( ), even though it’s in the really busy food court. E-man. Will. We go.
