Went there to buy some flowers for my son to give his friends in college. My son is attending a college in the Midwest, so I just thought something from Hawaii would be cute for college kids. I went crazy buying 4 different flowers. I just couldn’t decide which ones to get. So, I just got them all. It’s super cheap! But they are not cheaply made… these flowers look real! Not to mention the flowers are light weight, so mailing it will be cheaper. The guy even offered to mail them right then and there but I didn’t have the address. Since he knew I was going to mail the flowers he put them in bags and sealed it. Such a wonderful little store! Go to Crafts Way for your floral needs!

I’m not the first person in the world to jump up to put flowers in my hair… which is «strongly suggested» at my work but not mandatory. Actually, to be honest, when it comes to me, I’m generally a «plain jane» and I usually just rubber band my hair or leave it down.
In any case, I was talked to about putting flowers in my hair so I decided to come to the this store to check out the options and possibly purchase a couple. I ended up buying 4 items. Upon walking in, my first thought was an overwhelming, uh, where do I start? Everyone asked me if they could be of assistance but I thanked them and just started to browse. I think I walked around there for at least 20 minutes. I found single flowers, flowers on clips, bunches, loose flowers, headband’s with flowers. I also learned that if you find something you like but it’s not QUITE what you are looking for they can make a custom order. I didn’t really get into that too much as I was very happy with the flowers that I did find.
I left with 4 items, a single hibiscus on a clip, a headband with flowers on it, and 2 other larger clips with flowers. Because I’m not too well versed in the flower names, I can’t really give more of a description… However, I know that I liked the colors and I will start wearing these on a regular basis for work.
Now I know the best place to come for flowers for your hair and can definitely feel comfortable recommending this place. I like the variety and can’t wait to go back!

Crafts Way is faux flowers galore!
I came here from a friend’s recommendation to find some nice flower hair clips for work and future interviews. This place was a little hard to find for a townie like me, it’s the left turn after Best Buy in Aiea/​Pearl City. The store is on your right hand side after you enter the parking lot ahead.
If you’re looking for already arranged flower hair clips, they have an array of those in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They range from about $ 7 to $ 50. The store has shelves of loose flowers you can purchase or create your own arrangement piece. I could easily spend an hour just checking everything out.
All sales are final. If you are an airline employee with an AOA badge, you can get 15% off purchases for showing it!

This was the first time ever I couldn’t find a store on Unilocal to which I didn’t know the name to.
I searched the words: fake, flowers, hair clips, aiea, hekaha, craft, Harbor Center, etc. Anyone of those combinations and nothing, I was starting to think I was crazy or the store didn’t exist.
Finally I bumped into someone who was wearing one of their hair pieces, and BAM! Crafts Way. Combination search words = Foam Flowers. *gggrrrr*

~They have a very large selection of flowers. Types & colors… Some of them really do look real.
~They also carry jewelry, leis, and mini cake figurines. *I don’t know why they have mini cake figurines but they do*
~They have price breaks from 30 pieces, 50 pieces, than 100 pieces. Same flower, and I think mix-​and-​match on colors. Anything over 100 pieces and it will still be the same price.
~They have wholesalers pricing so long you have a GE license for the state of Hawaii.
~You can select flowers and I believe they are able to make a hair clip/​piece out of it for you; assuming with a charge.
~They have premade hair pins, clips, pieces, etc, They even have jumbo ones, where you can literally wear a fricken garden on your head. WOW, that’s a lot of plant

I personally haven’t gotten anything for myself here. I’m just not a flowers-​in-​the-​hair type of girl. Not to mention, I would look like my FOB sisters on the beaches of Waikiki.
I do think however, it’s a great way to keep cost down if you’re looking for realistic flowers for everyday wear. Also I can see them being given as gifts for people who would like a little piece of Hawaii.

I looove going to Crafts Way! I can never leave without purchasing something. Sure you can get foam flowers from the swap meet or the International Marketplace if you want some simple tacky looking stuff, but Crafts Way has ALLLL your flower needs. All sorts of sizes, clips, pony tails, and more. Plumerias, hibiscuses, pua keni keni, orchids, lilies in all sorts of colors, I swear the possibilities are endless! Some of them are so intricate that I always get compliments while working. I also give my flowers away for my guests to keep as a memento of Hawaii whenever they ask about my flower and it just makes their day.

They do a great job and their flowers look soo real. The prices are very reasonable!

I enjoy coming here although I must confess, it’s a rare occassion because I live on the other side of the island. They have some awesome craft items that are hard to find at other craft stores. I like the selection and some of the more unique and quirky crafty items sold here.
Every time I come here I get the urge to be creative and that’s rare for me because I work so much now. If you’re into crafts, check this place out!

This place is awesome for all your foam flowers. I’ve been coming here for years I also visit them at the swap meet. The lady Porntip is really nice, yes that is really her name its on her business card. I have a container full of foam flowers. I use them for Tahitian and random just because occasions.
