Samantha«Sam» of Sunglass Hut Pearlridge is the greatest. I bought my Prada sunglass couple months ago and as soon as she saw it, she offers a sunglass cleaning. I asked her if I can exchange it into another model since my bday is coming up, and with a smile, she process the exchange transaction. For that, my friend bought a Tory Burch sunglass.

As soon as we got orders to move to Hawaii I bought a new pair of Dolce and Gabbana glasses in St. Louis. As soon as the movers left I realized they were gone. I thought they were packed on accident so I went with cheap sunglasses(which really sucks… I hate cheap glasses) until we unpacked in Hawaii. They were gone! I looked at every Sunglass Hut on the island and couldn’t find them. I talked to the lady here and she pointed out the replica! YAY! Finally get to enjoy my glasses! They have alot of the higher end glasses here. Ray Ban, Oakley, D&G, Coach, Prada, DKNY, Vogue, Emporio Armani, to name a few. I don’t like coming in here on a weekend. Too many people. The sales people are pretty helpful to tell you whether you don’t look right in glasses. Face it. You don’t want to be that person that is walking around and people are thinking. «Dear God, does she know she looks like THAT?» They put your name in the system and know your style. I keep my receipt anyways. First year they are under a warranty.

Stopped by on a Tuesday, as I had sone time to kill before an appointment at the Diagnostic Laboratory Services. Sam was the only one working, and greeted me as I came in. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, but saw a pair of Ray Bans, matte-black, that had some keyhole inspirations for the frame. I tried on a few other pairs, and Sam was very helpful throughout, suggesting frames that paired well with my face shape(I have a round face). While it may have been that I was the only person in the store at the time, Sam nonetheless provided a pleasant, enjoyable sunglasses shopping experience. I even asked if she could hold on to the pair for me while I walked around the mall(it was the last pair they had!) and she was more than happy to do so. All in all, a fine location to buy sunglasses.

This place has premium glasses at premium prices. Some of those designer glasses are in the $ 300 range. I love my sun glasses but can’t imagine spending that much on a pair. To each his own. You get a free case if you buy pair. They have a good replacement discount(50%) if you scratch or break the glasses you bought. Unless there is a particular designer pair of glasses that you really really want I would try to find a cheaper quality pair of glasses elsewhere. I’ve found good polarized glasses for decent prices at Costco

My gift of a very expensive pair of Blinde glasses somehow got warped, started to give me headaches and actually never fit perfectly in the first place. So here I am in the market for another pair of killer shades. Coworker recommended here after my unsuccessful experience at Sunglass Hut in Waikele(yuck!). Took me what seemed like forever trying every pair I liked and mentally debating the pros/cons, colors, price, etc. Yeah price, can you believe what some pairs are going for? Like 1,000 thread count, these babies aren’t cheap. Decided on a pair of Maui Jim polarized. Light as a feather, complimentary. What was that? $ 20 off the next pair, you don’t say. Oh hell, what the f*ck, I’ll take these Bolle ones too then. Damn you!(Resolution: If you can’t decide on one, get them both). Hmm, dangerous practice. Loving the glasses and the added comfort of knowing I can always come back for adjustments. Too bad they don’t discount pairs on display. ‘We don’t sell inferior or defected products’, I believe the salesperson said. Whatever that’s suppose to mean, too bad. At least I tried.
