Waimalu Barber Shop

This barber shop is the greatest place to cut, color, and style your hair. Sherry the owner is a nicest person you can meet and the prices are excellent. I been getting my haircut from Sherry for 30 years.

2 stars cuz she seems nice. Driving around aiea looking and calling places who could take me in asap. i get to this place and walk in since it was my last option. Was told she’s almost done with her customer so no biggie I wait. Maybe 10 min goes by and and she’s done. I have 35 min left before I have to pick up my daughter. So anyways I’m walking to her chair and then she asks this other gentlemen if he was the one who called in. Of course he says yes. Then she looks at me and says sorry, I thought you mentioned that YOU called in. Um, no. You didn’t say that. So anyways, i have to storm out of there cuz I can’t wait for her to finish up that guy then cut my hair.
So, whatever, shit happens but this was definitely not a good 1^st experience for me which is why I’m only giving her 2 stars. Maybe I’ll come back in the far future if I’m desperate like I was today.

Nice and clean place but asked for skin fade and barber kind of hard no idea. I wouldn’t recommend if you want a military haircut. Had to correct barber several times on areas in where to fix. The haircut not worth the price they charge.

Excellent service and cleanliness. Sherry (owner and principal barber, hairdresser, hairstylist, styler, stylist) is always friendly and cheerful. Sherry will do it just the way you want it. Appointments or walk-​in available. I’ll go nowhere else, nor will you after having had a cut here.
