All I can say is we love Dr Yano! Excellent Dr with a wicked sense of humor! Amazing with kids and parents. Super busy Dr but he always makes time for concerns we may have and he remembers about our personal life! My son have been with him since birth and I hope he doesn’t retire for next 18yrs!

Dr. Yano, Auntie Rae(nurse) and the rest of the Children’s Medical Center office staff are awesome beyond words. Dr. Yano was my pediatrician from birth, as well as my brothers’ and close cousins’… And now he’s my children’s pediatrician! We wouldn’t keep it all in the family and highly recommend him if he wasn’t absolutely amazing! The office environment is conveniently equipped with toys, a play table and Disney Junior on repeat in the waiting room. The front office staff are very accommodating when scheduling and always have available appointment times if your child needs to be seen urgently that same day. This place is just awesome … I wouldn’t trust my children with anyone else

This is it, review #100. I sat long and hard and took weeks to decide what 100 would be. Hell, I even started a talk thread just to be trolled by Min K. to help figure out what this milestone would encompass. Up till this point I had a strong focus on restaurants and bars and less of the dentist, doctor, venue, type-deal. I want 100 to be special and I’ve been waiting to write this one for a long time now. I finally decided on Dr. Stephen Yano because of the great impact hes had not only on my life, but my family’s. He has been there through thick and thin and had to break the hard news as well as celebrate victories along the way. He has been a part of my family’s life for over 20 years now and for all he has done for us, I am eternally thankful. Oddly he came into my place of work today to eat and I got to chat with him(Coincidence? Scary!). If I could give Dr. Yano ten stars, I would. I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Yano my whole life and would never switch to any other doctor. True story, when I turned too old to go to the pediatrician, I still wanted to have Dr. Yano as my primary physician! Over the years he has helped me survive illness, remove a hair embedded in my foot, record numerous physicals, take tons of shots, talk story, and most of all, give me and my parents piece of mind. He helped figure out my sleep apnea, find a doctor who could perform surgery on my jacked up rotator cuff, and gave my parents great advice on how to best control their teenager. Much more than just a doctor, Dr. Yano takes a very involved role in all his patients lives, providing more than just a diagnosis. Always wondering what’s new with his patients and what is on the horizon, he has an excellent memory and can really relate with parents and children. His sidekick nurse Rae is an integral part of team Yano. She is kind, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend any needle work and blood samples to be done by her. Painless and quick, she is your go to nurse. She collects all the patient history and info before the good doctor comes in and is very very good at her job. She is an excellent multitask-er and never keeps you waiting even when their schedule is jam packed. I always looked forward to the debriefing in his office after visits. You get to sit there and play with hourglasses and other sand/water/oil toys that spiral, bubble, and sift. Equipped with mazes and puzzles, and toys, this office was a great play place while mom got up to date with my well-being. Thank you again Dr. Yano for all you have done. By the way, can I come back to see you as my primary physician? That would be great.
