I went to Dr. Carter years ago (more than I’d like to admit — I was in middle school!) when he was located only in Augusta and North Augusta. He was great then, and he’s still great now. I recently stopped by while in town to ask about getting a new retainer to fix a tooth that was moving. I walked out an hour later with a new retainer. Fast forward to a few months later, my retainer ended up cracking in one place. I called up his office and was told to stop by the next time I was in town. I ended up following up and got a brand new retainer with no charge. For parents who work, they still do the Brace Bus/​Hummer and will pick your kids up from school. I’d definitely recommend him!
