Tough two stars… the rooms are quite nice. Terrible design when it is pouring rain. No cover at the front desk, no indication really, that it is the ftont desk, and only one other entrance/exit(after you get your key) that also had no awning. Again, sunny day… I would add another star. But cold, wet, pouring day… awful.

DONOT, I repeat, DONOT book a stay at this hotel. I had the WORST stay of my life pertaining to a hotel and I travel twice a month out of state. The hotel itself was not bad, the front desk representative whom represented the hotel is what made the stay AWFUL. There was a problem with my reservation in the midst of trying to solve the error which took a while, the rep, called me a B***H. Needles to say I was livid. I tried to find another hotel but there were two main events going on in this small town so booking was a rare event for anyone without a reservation. I’ve made my complaints through the correct channels. Presentation is 9⁄10th. She spoke and carried herself as she was representing a business in the gutter, basically a business with no class. I hope this representative is moved from the front desk. Place her somewhere else if needed. We all need our jobs, but she definitely do not deserve to represent Marriott or any form of Marriott. Actually, with language like that being used she doesn’t need a job or doesn’t care about her job. She just said«Nothing will be done», as if she knew the company was lacking-in in moral.“ BEWARE !!!

The list of failures is too long to list fully but.. . — we found underwear in the closet that was not ours — the shower curtain was not attached and the bathroom had not been cleaned — the tile on the bathroom floors is extremely slick — the thermostat on the wall does not control the window unit. — the black out curtains would not close — the television would not get nbc(ended up being a loose cable) — the worst thing was that the hotel was a sponsor of the iron man event and would not let the visitors have breakfast before 7:00 am. The food was out. The lady would not understand that everyone had to be at the event at 6:00 am. The maintenance lady was very nice. Avoid this hotel. Honestly, this is the first time ever traveling that the hotel diminished my enjoyment of my stay.

Nothing bad to say. This hotel served all of my needs and also provided a very comfy bed. The property offers free parking and is located in a very convenient area. I stayed for a week and had a pleasant stay. The workers were very nice and the hotel was clean. Free breakfast included: eggs, sausage. Oatmeal(instant), grits(hot), breads, fruit and muffins, etc. great selection ! The house blend coffee is very good.

This appears to be an older property, and isn’t quite as fresh as many other Marriott properties, including other Fairfield Inns. However, the staff was warm and friendly, and there is plenty nearby — a few restaurants, The Fresh Market(best grocery store ever), etc. The hotel also has a hot tub that the staff is pretty proud of, as they REALLY encouraged me to go check it out! :) My room was a simple king bed, chair, dresser, and flat screen TV. Nothing super special, but no complaints either. The friendly staff get the property bonus points!
