Just another sub Shop. A regular size Sandwich, chips, and a drink will run you about $ 12 bucks. A bit high don’t you think?

My first time at Jersey Mike’s, but it won’t be the last. It’s a little expensive, but I don’t mind paying for food that takes me back home to South Jersey. The bread wasn’t exactly what I’m used to on a traditional Philly cheesesteak, but it was easily overlooked, what with the delicious combination of meat, cheese, and onions. It was the second closest sandwich I’ve had in the south, next to sitting on Passyunk Avenue in Philly eating the real deal.

Bread was old and dry. Meat was sliced paper thin with very thin layers. The amount of oil they drown the sub in was stomach turning. Everything was bitter tasting. The drink carbonation and syrup ratio was wrong. Very expensive for what you got. I never ate mote flavorless food. Iordered the Italian and my girlfriend got the roast beef. Neither of us finished it.

This was my first time at a Jersey Mikes. The greeter was very enthusiastic. My grilled veggie wrap was delicious, but very messy. Had to grab a plate and fork. Not sure if that’s the way it is supposed to be. I’ll try a sub next time.
