This is one of the worst buffets we’ve ever visited! There were very few choices, nothing fresh, no fresh veg and the whole salad bar looked like it had come from cans. The price is high for some very sub-par food. Not worth it at all and we’ll never eat there again.

I would go here about once a month and would normally rate the buffet a 4, but the last 2 times it’s been pretty poor. The service was good if not overly attentive but I won’t knock em for that. The food!!! The crab legs tasted old, like they’d been sitting in murky unchanged water and there was no seasoning at all. Crab should taste sweet, a little salty like the ocean, rich, be delicate in flavor and texture. some pieces of the crab were litterally as tough as the shell from being dried out, what was edible tasted like a crawfish straight out of some muddy water. Other than crab the buffet was pretty limited, deep fried shrimp, overcooked shrimp for the cocktail(and the sauce… well I made a better cocktail sauce at the table.) the wasabi was so runny it wouldn’t stick to anything, the ahi was beautiful though. cajun catfish was just massively breaded with a thin sliver of catfish inside, tasted like the overpowering breading. everything else tasted like it had no salt or pepper in it, even the au jus. for side dishes there was mashed potatoes and a really nasty scampi. Lets be honest, you go to the seafood buffet for the crab, and when the crab was terrible we mentioned it but never did hear anything about it. Then the desert bar, half of it was empty and this is at 7 o’clock! left after half a plate. Will probably be going to the CD’A casino buffet from now on…

Overpriced, $ 27/person, and the food selection is very limited. Their sushi bar consisted of only ahi ahi, no sushi! Keeping the food and utensils stocked at the buffet was also a problem. We went on seafood night with a group of 15. 13 of us were there prior to being seated. Our last 2 from our party arrived about 10 minutes after we were seated. I believe it was the dining supervisor, accused our party of adding people. She really should check with her staff before she opens her mouth. We were seated for 15 and 15 arrived.

We have been here at least 10 times. We usually have pretty good food. Small selection but it’s not bad. But based on the breakfast buffet we had we probably won’t go back. I’m not sure if they just don’t care anymore or it was a bad day. Prime rib cold. Everything was bland and dry. My husband will go back once or twice and he didn’t even go back. none of my family did which is not something that usually happens. :(

We ate here once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times it was alright. The selection is pretty average and you won’t be too surprised by the normal variety of options. The register staff can be kind of brisk and rude but most of the wait staff are pleasant and quick.

Disgusting only word that describes there food. I would rather eat at any creepy restaurant than eat here again.

Food is ok. Crème Brulee was really good. Service was not good. You might be thinking«What service? It’s a buffet!»(The waitress brings you your drinks and cutlery.) I forgot, left my fork on my first plate and it got taken away with the dirty plate. I asked the waitress THREE times for another fork and I never did get one.(there’s no silverware on the other tables to grab) While I was looking for a fork up at the buffet she must have come back to the table and cleared my plate because my food was gone when I got back to my seat. I went back and got more food and ate it with a spoon from the dessert bar. I also could have used a refill on my soda but she didn’t come back — probably still looking for that fork.

It’s always hard for Casino buffets to present«quality» food stuffs for their customers, but like any good restaurant, the Rivers Edge Buffet should at least try to identify themselves with at least one signature food item to be known for, otherwise their whole selection gets classified as average to poor quality. The Rivers Edge is guilty of missing out and their selection, while being pretty good, is fairly bland. Preparation is minimal, just bulk deep fried or steamed. While the prime rib(standing rib roast) was attractive looking, the quality of the beef was lacking. The price for entry to the buffet is very reasonable and because of that, the F&B manager has to cut corners where needed to make sure he has no losses.

This place is totally over priced and low quality… this buffet is the worst! The food is nasty and the service is sub-standard! I’d rather go to Grannies.

We decided to try out their Friday Seafood night. We arrived before the dinner rush and was seated right away. There was plenty of variety to choose from.

This buffet is located at Norther Quest Resort & Casino. We ate here for the Father’s Day Feast brunch buffet. We were seated quickly and the seating hostess was very friendly. We waited 7 minutes before the seating area’ server greeted us and took our drink order. The buffet layout was pretty standard with an omelette bar, carving station, salad bar and steam tables. My first plate was a biscuit, a small nugget of chicken fried steak, some gravy and a ready-serve Eggs Benedict. I sat down and cut some of my biscuit with the smothered gravy… and… it was luke warm, almost cold. No warm or hot gravy, come on. OK, time to redeem themselves with the Eggs Benedict. Cutting into it and I was impressed with the golden brown toasting of the English muffin, the egg yolk was hard and to my horror… the Hollandaise Sauce was cold. I won’t even blur the lines of calling it luke warm. On that note the egg was cold also. They had Kansas City bacon which was freaking awesome! Ok, second plate was going to be a griddle item… I chose the strawberry creeps because I saw the cook bringing a fresh hot pan of them to the steamer table. I got in to position to grab one of these beauties but she wasn’t moving the older tray out until I took the nasty torn apart one that was still in it. I told her I wanted on the the hot ones and she said ‘that one is plenty hot’ and waited until I took it before exchanging the tray. Really? I am not going to say it was ‘just OK’, just disappointed at how nice the hotel and casino is and not having the buffet to match. Spirit Mountain Casino Cedar Plank Buffet in Grand Rhonde has a book they can take some pages from.

Its mother day and my mom loves buffets, so we headed on down River Edge Buffet, before we even left I had to check out the menu for Mother’s Day Buffet, it looked promising, Prime Rib, Snow Crab, Eggs Benedicts chocolate fondue fountain and much more, sounded like a killer spread to me. We got there around 11:45am, the line was long but wasn’t too bad and the buffet was handing out samples of bread and butter, I do love the carbs! Once we were seated at our table it was time to check it out, I tried the prime rib, snow crab legs, eggs benedicts, checked out the omelet station, but didn’t grab one, learned from others in our party that the cook was handing everyone the wrong omelet. The prime rib was over cooked and really tasted like a pot roast, the creamy horseradish was just creamy no horseradish to it, but when mixed with the raw horseradish it was perfect, the snow crab legs were good, but you had to ask for a crab cracker and when I did I was ignored by our server who looked at me said yea ok and then walked away and never came back, about 10 minutes thinking maybe she was busy, I wound up asking another server who came back with them in no time. The eggs benedicts were inedible, the eggs were rubbery, the English muffin was cement hard and it had just a few drops of hollandaise sauce, I just love that golden yellow sauce! Do I feel I got the best bang for my buck, no, but my mom loved it, she enjoyed our time together and with friends, so that right there is what mattered.

As far as casino buffets go… it is not Vegas but for Spokane, it is alright. The general food hovers slightly above cafeteria. They do bring in seafood on the weekends and have some choice cut meats on other nights that make it doable. They have a made to order macaroni bar and dessert bar with a variety of choices. Tidbit: The hotel serves host for most traveling collegiate sports teams and the buffet is a popular spot for the teams to eat. But as with most buffets, if you don’t have a hearty appetite, the quality of food makes it hard to justify just a plate or two.

Was there for a lunch brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The food on this buffet line was so old it had changed color and had that wonderful glissing film over the top of it. They solved the problem of people wanting fresh food as they had nobody at the omlet station. Just let you stand there. Comments to the serving staff about the food met with that blank stare back. They aren’t concerned — they don’t care. The food showed it. Spent $ 13 bucks and didn’t even eat a plate. Trible Council needs to start paying attention. Your casino management is running this place into the ground. I know I won’t eat here again for a long time

They have very impressive brunch menu! The quality of the food are much better compared to other buffet restaurants in Spokane. They used to have lunch but the selections was very much limited. Now the brunch menu is one step up with many breakfast items to choose from. I love their eggs benedict and fried cod(no thick breading!) Breakfast sandwiches are great too! Be sure to try french toast and huckleberry silver dollar pancakes. The service is great. You will enjoy the dining experience here.

I love this buffet because it has a great Sunday breakfast! I also like that it’s conveniently located near the entrance and by the bathrooms in the front. Even though there is smoking in he casino. The buffet is near the entrance where there is no smoking so it’s fine. My husband had bad asthma and can’t go near buffets in casinos that are smoky. The Sunday buffet had a mixture of breakfast and lunch items which is nice. They have prime rib and roast beef out for the breakfast :) the highlight was the bacon, sausage, French toast, and make your own omelet bar. They had really quality food and a good variety which is unique. I even had some dessert and they had a good selection. The food from the buffet was definitely better.

Disappointed with this brunch buffet. The food selection was what I would expect, but the one thing a brunch buffet should be able to do right is Eggs Benedict. I took just one muffin topped with a poached egg and Hollandaise sauce. The muffin was seriously a brick. The sauce was a dry coating over the egg. The yolk was cooked through and dry. They almost redeemed themselves with a new batch of Benedict, but the yolk was still cooked through and dry. Not impressed.

Great buffet and reasonably priced. Came here for brunch with the fam — all you can eat for less than $ 100, yes please! Great omelet station. Prime Rib — yummmmm. They have tons of breakfast options. Not sure what the dinner buffet is like, but I’m sure it’s also great. They have a chocolate fountain that the kids love. Fun. We got there early, so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. A line appeared shortly after that, at around 10ish, but again, didn’t seem to be a wait or crowded and it was a Saturday.

Came here for dinner while visiting Spokane and Northern Quest Casino. The line was long for a Friday night at the casino… it was seafood night. I don’t eat seafood but came with my family who are all for it! For non seafood choices, there was prime rib, mac & cheese, salad bar, waffle fries, etc. The prime rib with gravy was not bad. Dessert choices were good(cheesecake, chocolate cake, soft serve, etc). Prices here were typical buffet prices(around $ 20+ pp) and service was attentive. Food tasted fresh overall. Wouldn’t mind trying again on a non seafood night if I was here.
