We have had nothing but excellent service and attention! They have always been super helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. When we have needed a referral for a teacher, etc., the referrals have been excellent. Zero complaints!!!

I came here on a whim one day. As a guitarist, I like going to different guitar stores. Compared to Guitar Center and Akron Music Center, this one is extremely small and crowded. This place is also family-owned There were mostly amps and basic guitars here, although I did find a drum set and a few desks here. Service is great, in my opinion. They answered every question I had and were completely honest, even though I ended up not buying a single thing. They kept emphasizing how they could just order what I was looking for online. So much for their selection. If you are interested in buying guitars, they claim they don’t force their customers to buy the warranty like Guitar Center — they come included at no additional cost. What I loved is they let me «turn the amp up to 11» at no cost. Seriously, they let me bring in my guitar and I was able to play death metal riffs right in the store. In terms of music stores, this is middle-of-the road.

I’m all about the local instrument dealers. In a former life, I was a musician and I still dabble a bit on occasion. This place, though, is kinda creepy. The entire store is crammed(and I do mean completely full! It’s hard to even walk around) with cheapo Asian import instruments or really rough used stock. I don’t think they’re a dealer for any of the better brands at all, though you could probably tell that by walking in the door. The prices are cheap, but instruments are like strippers, you usually get what you pay for. The ones here are either has-beens(used to death) or never-was-es(not made well enough to play effectively). You’d never pay for a stripper placed in either of those categories, right? Maybe after a few beers? Then why would you consider spending on those a musical instrument classified that way? If you’re a serious musician, go somewhere else. But then, if you’re a serious musician, you wouldn’t’ve come here in the first place.
