Please don’t make the same mistake I did and order anything from ACS in Akron. They took my money but never sent the part, or even an confirmation of purchase/​shipping. I spent a week calling them and although Jim was nice, he never fixed the problem or refunded my money. This is theft. And I hope no one else gets swindled the way I did.

I needed a new system board for my beloved IBM ThinkPad. After some correspondence with them via email, I decided to purchase the part from them, but have it installed by a local technician (I’m in CA). That said, judging by the way they performed I will ship the whole thing off to them next time. Here’s why I give ACS 5 stars: 1) They deal in genuine OEM parts; 2) prompt responses to emails and willingness to answer questions; 3) they shipped the product in a couple hours from receiving my order (and it was packed properly!). In other words, they did exactly what I wanted and expected them to do. So simple, yet seemingly so uncommon these days. Strongly recommended.
