Beau’s Grille

Beau’s is excellent! The wings, berry watermelon salad and the mozzarella sticks are outstanding. I have been going weekly for many years. Mary is awesome!

Food is all pretty decent, but it was the stuffed banana peppers that prompted me to write this review. They are absolutely delicious! Peppers are just the right amount of spicy. Combination of peppers, veal, ricotta, and sauce is just an amazing combination. Nom nom nom

WOW! Went to Beau’s the other night for a family friend’s college graduation. We sat on the patio and service was fantastic. We had appetizers and I had a chicken dish that was fantastic! Will definitely be back!

I’ll give it 4 stars now, only because I’m rating this on the booze and bartender!
FANTASTIC drinks! Bartenders are friendly, witty and just plain fun — and they know how to make a damn good drink!
wait, the calamari is also damn good — but a little greasy/​oily!!!

The view is amazing. Food so-​so. We did eat lunch, so maybe the dinner is better. Salad bar is sub-​par — just don’t do it. I’ve had better service and I’ve had much worse, nothing to write home about.
Clean. Great atmosphere. I don’t recommend the Reuben or the fish in chips. I’d give it another try for dinner sometime.

An underrated gem. A lot of hotels just a have a restaurant for tired travelers convenience but this place is unique and always yummy. I find it enjoyable that they have everything from salads and sandwiches to a little more expensive entrees so we can use this place for any night or for a treat/​special occasion. The fried green tomato appetizer isn’t just fried green tomatoes they build a piece of art with carefully paired flavors with plenty of fresh veggie crunch to cut through the fried part.

It was my first time visiting this place. We came for a work lunch meeting and I picked it for the upscale look and feel along with the large menu they had available. I was not very impressed with the food or service. Their side salad was bagged lettuce thrown on a plate with a few croutons. They also forgot 2 out of the 7 entrees at the table. I’m not sure I will go back to this location.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Been here numerous times and I am always satisfied with their food and services. When it comes to their services, their servers are fantastic and accommodating. They don’t have a kids menu but they offered my toddler chicken tenders, fries and even cheese sticks. I had their breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. But by far, my favorite is the dinner menu. I have tasted most of the appetizers and they are all superb. The ahi tuna, buffalo wings, beef carpaccio, chicken sausage, banana peppers, crab cakes, calamari, lettuce wraps and tuna tartare are my go-to’s. We decided to order tapas style with the appetizers and it was the best idea ever.
Now for the entrees I have tasted the grilled salmon, panko crusted chicken parmesan, and the grilled boneless chicken breast are to die for! If you want fantastic food, try Beau’s.

My first time there. Fantastic! I got the cod and pilaf for lunch. One of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. The sear was perfect, the fish was light and tasty, and the pilaf was blended to a unique taste. Business lunch today, but dinner with the wife is definitely on the board. Excellent, excellent!

I have been to Beau’s many times. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and never been disappointed. The tuna tower is awesome, and everything I have had is good. Even breakfast, although more expensive than most local places, is excellent. As far as Akron restaurants go, Beau’s is one of the most consistent.

Shawn gave us great service. Great food… Not quite as good as the Cuyahoga Falls location. But we left very satisfied! The sea bass was excellent.

Went to Beau’s for Christmas Eve dinner with the family. It was a very pleasant atmosphere, polite and prompt service, and great food. Ordered the panko chicken pasta dish and it was delicious. Also fair prices for what you get.

very busy last night, but the team in the bar got everything right ! I wish I could remember our servers name, he was nice and took care of our order as well as 2 large birthday parties.. . Great place to meet friends for a few drinks and apps. !!

A nice surprise on a business trip.
Sean, the server, was friendly and knowledgable regarding the menu. Started off the meal with a local Great Lakes Brewing (Cleveland) Dortmunder brew. Very crisp and clean tasting. Also had a salad with white French dressing, a house specialty. Sean and I agreed that, while potentially a bad idea, drinking this dressing by the glass is not out of the question.
Turns out that they have fresh fish delivered daily here. A present surprise. The walleye was prepared perfectly. Moist, flavorful and delicious! Steamed veggies on the side were fresh tasting and not overbooked.
In general a good dining experience. I’d recommend.

Overall this is a great place to get something to eat or have a drink. Their wine selection is much better than average. I wish they had a larger selection of wine by the glass; although their selection of wine by the bottle makes up for this. When I was there, they were out of stock of about 15% of bottles of wine on their list, but I found something great anyways as they have many options.
The servers here are very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is top quality, and there are many good desserts.
The two times I’ve gone here, I arrived about 30 minutes before close, and they indicated that the lounge was the only place we could be seated. However, the second time the lounge seemed too loud due to a musician playing, so we asked to be seated in the restaurant, and they were willing to let us sit there without any hesitation.
I would give 4 and a half stars if I could due to them not having a fair amount of their listed wines available. However, everything else was great and makes up for it, and their wine shortage is hopefully a temporary issue.
I look forward to going back in the future.

One has to fight the old adage about not eating where one sleeps, as Beau’s is nestled in the Hilton Inn; but fight it one should!
We stopped for lunch.
Before the main meal, two styles of ciabatta rolls were served, one multi-​grained and seeded, and the other white.
They were good enough to merit a second serving!
The lady got a chopped steak plate with mashed potatoes, green peppers and onions.
The dish was served swimming in au jus to the extent that one marveled that it arrived on the plate after the walk from the kitchen.
She was quite pleased with all the components of the dish.
I ordered their beef stir fry which was both on the daily specials page as well as the menu proper, the only difference being one was spicy and one was not.
I wasn’t sure which one I ordered, but what came was the non-​spicy version.
When she asked how I wanted the steak done, I inquired about the cut being served and when she said «filet», medium-​rare came out as quickly as an inmate retrieving soap in the shower.
My stir-​fry was excellent.
The sauce was flavorful, the veggies nicely done and the steak was perfect.
True to stir-​fry genre it was cut pieces of what I assume to have been the trimmings from butchering a whole tenderloin into filets.
It’s genius using them in a stir-​fry, as so often it is wasted in the form of ground meat;
and there was a whole lotta filet served in this dish.
My first dozen bites or so all had meat, and none was purposely engineered to be so by the diner.
I’m a card-​carrying/​founding member of the Clean Plate Club, and nonetheless I ended up taking half of the dish home.
I was full and my jaw was tired from all the chewing,(not to infer the meat was in the least bit chewy!)
For $ 14.95, this dish was a steal!
There was more meat here than I’ve had in purportedly 8 ounce filets!
But do me a favor and ignore this review, as too many diners may mean more sparse portions of stir-​fry filet!
Based on this visit, a definite re-​do!

I just recently ate at Beau’s for the first time with a group 6 colleagues for lunch and was pretty pleased with the whole experience. Our waiter was cordial and frequented our table enough to keep our glasses filled and any requests we had. The food was average to slightly above average; some of us ordered the salmon, chicken parmesan, chicken stir fry and burgers. The environment of the restaurant was fairly nice where business formal attire or a pair of dark jeans and button-​up shirt would be appropriate. Overall, it was a fairly decent lunch experience. I will go back.

Good food and great service. Nothing spectacular.

I had given it 2 stars after my last visit, but after I voiced my displeasure about my experience Beau’s went out of their way to correct the problem. They have been great the few times I went before this so I think my last visit was an exception. As for the restaurant it is a nice place to have dinner and in the summer the patio is a great place to enjoy a meal. It has formal feel but not over the top and usually is pretty quiet. They have a nice menu with some great dishes. Also they have a nice wine list. If you are staying at the Hilton you can’t beat the convenience. I would recommend giving Beau’s a try.

We recently held our rehearsal dinner at Beau’s and the experience was just wonderful. We were able to pre select four apps and the menu had 6 – 7 different items for our guests to choose from along with an open bar.
The food was delicious and everyone kept raving about it. Service was also amazing.
I’d highly recommend for a large party but we have also been by ourselves and had an equally enjoyable experience.
