My wife and I have been here several times since it’s opening. The food is standard quality Denny’s food. The wait staff has always been good but prior to this visit the hostess gave me the impression that not only did she desperately need the job, but that she felt it was beneath her to be the hostess. Today’s visit she wasn’t there. I could be wrong but I had the feeling they only had one cook and two waitresses. The food was good, but the waitress we had was exceptional! She was very interested in making sure our visit was a grand one. She very was apologetic that it took longer than usual for our order to arrive. As I said the food was good, but our waitress was the star of our visit. I think her name was Abby. This Denny’s should be happy to have her.

One of my good friends works here so unless you have a waitress named Karissa your going to be seeing red. The other reviews are completely accurate I have been here twice and both times I found myself staring at a staff who were walking around in circles doing nothing. Literally nothing but talking, laughing and having a good time. I’m sitting at a table right now. Took us 15 minutes to get our hot chocolate. It has now been 40 min and we still have not gotten our food. We are one of three tables in the restaurant. I would make the drive 20 more minutes south to get to the Arlington location before ever considering coming here again.

Terrible. How can you screw up breakfast? Go to this Denny’s and find out. Eggs prepared wrong, home fries raw, no butter on the English muffin, terrible coffee with no cream available(they said the manager went to buy some but she never returned with it even though this Denny’s is located next to a Giant Eagle), only packets of Ketchup(ran out of ketchup too). Time for new management. I only gave it a one because the water wasn’t poison. I won’t be back here soon.

I have been here a few times since it opened. first time I went I ordered to go. They had no phone number posted yet so I had to go into the restaurant and order. People who went in to order after me got their food before me. Fast forward. months later. I returned to eat in store. My server’s name was Austin. I don’t know if he had it surgically removed or maybe it was under construction but he was missing his smile. I don’t think he smiled once. He mumbled everything and seemed either so shy or so soft spoken that being a server was the last possible thing he could do. Saw him bickering with his fellow servers when not attending his tables. He was quick to talk over me when i tried to get soup after 10pm. I left that night going, man why was this young man a server? This is no the career for him. When the money you make depends on your attitude and personality towards your guest, he would make no money. Fast forward another two weeks. I walk in again around the same time. Austin is there. This time he is in Managers garb. Apparently he has been promoted. Who the heck is doing the hiring, promoting and firing here? Are they just spinning a wheel with people’s name on it and stopping it and whomever it stops on gets to be a manager? I left last time saying The food service industry is not for Austin. He may be a nice guy outside of work but server and food service are not for him. Now he is a manager. Eh maybe he was having a bad day right. Nope. Never smiled. Never checked with tables. He expedited my nachos since my server was busy, yet he never smiled, never said so much as Here are your nachos sir, enjoy. Plop on table walk away. Why is he working here? My server was semi busy and I was done so I just walked up to the register to check out. One server walked over and said o she will be right with you hun, then walked away. Really i saw you check someone else out. Would it take you that long to check me out? Who comes to check me out? Austin… Hi austin… Are you gonna say hello to me? Nope. Are you gonna ask how my meal was? Nope. Your gonna stick your hand out without even saying did you have your check? Just thrust your hand in front of my face. I reply i have not gotten my check yet but i am ready to go. He gives me the total. takes my money prepares my change. As he does my server walks over and kindly apologizes for not getting to me earlier and asks how my meal was. As we are conversing Austin over top of us says did you want your receipt sir? When we stop conversing he again this time a little annoyed says… Did you want your receipt sir? Sorry its hard to hear someone who is supposed to be a manger when they TALKOVERTHEIROWNEMPLOYEE’S. Regarding their food. Eh its tolerable. Barring the fact that there was dead lettuce in my salad. No not wilted. Dead. Brown dead. bad dead.

My husband works second shift so Denny’s is our only option to grab a bite when he gets off of work. The first couple of times we went the service wasn’t bad and it wasn’t that full. However the last two times we of course ran into the after hours crowd which really hasn’t been an issue but the service is HORRIBLE! We usually get seated quickly and then that is it. Out of the last two times we got our water once. The waitress this last time never checked on us once and we waited a long time for the food to come. It never did even though the table next to us got theirs and they ordered well after we did. I have no idea if she even noticed that we left but it’s sad that both times we weren’t the only table leaving without receiving their food. Don’t waste your time unless your the after hours crowd and don’t mind waiting 40 minutes for your food because more than likely you won’t even get it.

The service here was horrible. It took at least 15 min to get our drinks. Then an extra 35 minutes for our food to come out which for me were banana pecan pancakes, has browns, and turkey bacon. My friend had a grand slam sandwich of some sort. When our food came out, I had to ask for silverware because it was never given. The food was sub par. The waitress was nice. When it was time for check out they had the bill all wrong. However, the manager offered to give us a 20 percent discount but since the register wasn’t working she later said it was on the house. I do not think I will ever be back to this location.

If you screw up the only table in the joint, you don’t get a second chance. My wife and I decided to have a quickie(breakfast, that is) to start our Friday off right. Instead of going to Panera or Bob Evan’s, we decided to give the new Denny’s a shot. We won’t make that mistake again. The place was 100% empty at 7(and stayed that way until 7:30 when one more table came in). That’s usually a bad sign with a breakfast joint. There should have been some hard working blue collar guys(and gals) or some blue-hairs; any breakfast place worth a darn has some activity around that time. Service started fine; the waitress was a little over-the-top but attentive and brought our drinks. She also took our order in a timely fashion and seemed to know how to do her job; and enjoyed it! Unfortunately, the execution of the breakfast was not so good. My wife ordered a ham and cheese sandwich; they did well with it. I ordered a philly steak omelet. When a ham and cheese omelet came out, I asked why; the waitress seemed confused on how to handle the situation. Instead of taking my breakfast and remaking my order, she hesitated and after I requested a new omelet, she offered to refire my order. However, she left the original omelet, hash browns and toast. As the toast and side got cold, we waited; eventually, an omelet came out. The waitress did not bring another order of toast or hash browns; as a result, I had cold toast and hash browns with my new omelet. The entire process seemed half-assed and confused. An oddity here is that the manager never got involved. Usually a manager likes to show her staff support and make things right with the customer. Instead, she sent the waitress over to offer to take 20% of our bill. I would have expected the manager to discuss it with us; also, in my experience, when an item is screwed up, the item is usually taken off the bill. As is often the case, the second omelet was lower in quality than the first. Since the first omelet was left on our table, I compared the two. The second one’s eggs were over cooked and the meat and veggies were covered in oil and over cooked. This indicates that the kitchen rushed the order. I would have preferred if they made the refire correctly rather than rush it out. The first omelet had much better eggs and much less grease. I wanted to discuss the issue with the manager when we checked out but she was not around and the waitress(who did her best) wasn’t at fault so I didn’t address it with her. One point about the service in general; as the only table, I was surprised it took 20 – 25 minutes for our order to come out the first time. Also the waitress had her purse on an empty table and repetitively checked her phone and touched up her nails while waiting around. Overall, I felt that the manager was useless and notably absent, the kitchen couldn’t execute and it felt like the place had no idea how to properly operate. I would recommend going anywhere else but here for a good breakfast.

For this place just opening you think they would want to make a good impression? No slow service and my food came out cold. The food was okay the only nice thing was the place was clean. I also waited to be seated for 5minutes. Yes 5 minutes doesn’t sound long but when the place is empty it’s kindve is. After being seated it took them 15minutes to take our order!

Our server was inexperienced which is fine, everyone has a first serving job. But the whole restaurant seemed to be understaffed which I found odd for a Sunday morning and the place was packed. Our drinks were never refilled and it took almost 20 minutes to get them in the first place. Food was decent but I wouldn’t go back simply because the service was so poor. There were numerous tables around us missing drinks and waiting for service. Pretty disappointing management for such a new establishment.

The food was good for price built my own grand slam and got 4 eggs bacon and pancakes for 6.65 plus tip. I went at 8 am on a Tuesday and there was no one else here. Sevice was good. The last time I came here food was a little slow but they were alot busier. So over all I will be back.

This will probably be the last time we go to this Denny’s. Tonight was the sixth time we’ve been here. Food came out cold. The one order of hash browns were only cooked on one side and was burnt. Had them get a new order and they never brought them out. The broccoli was atrocious. The portion sizes are inconsistent and small. They didn’t offer any discount for the food that was inedible. About the best experience was that our server was apologetic and courteous. Our other visits were about as bad as this last visit. Portions were small and/or inconsistent. Food wasn’t cooked right and/or cold. You would think with this being a chain restaurant you could expect consistent food at least. A couple of other times they had run out of items. Tonight they ran out of fries. The kitchen takes forever to get food out when most of it is heat and serve stuff.

Well we came. We sat. We ate— a small amount of breakfast. We got food poisoning. No joke. Had stomach cramps all night and my daughter got the diarrhea very badly. Well with that out of the way… Here goes the experience we had. The little red haired hostess was very attentive and sweet. That’s when the good service stopped. They tried… They really did. I don’t want to be harsh, but if anyone from there reads these— then listen to what your customers are saying. I ordered the country fried steak n eggs. Asked for the eggs over medium. And I stressed– over medium. I added 2 pancakes. Daughter got French toast slam, scrambled. Simple and sweet. We waited about 40 mins for our food… The place was filled prob about 40% to capacity. So, not full. When the food came out we had a diff person who expedited the order, and I could see immediately the eggs were over cooked. I then asked the expediter to have them remade, to which she apologetically agreed. Never saw the remade eggs. Took at couple bites of my CFsteak. Very fried. Very very fried. Took a couple bites of my pancakes. They were ok. My daughter picked at her food as well, and ate about half. We decided to leave after waiting for another 15 mins to see if they were going to bring my eggs out. Checked out at the front — and explained to the sweet red head what happened. She went and got the manager. Who, was also very sweet. She took about half off our bill which was a nice gesture. Well we start heading home and my daughter says her stomach hurts and she has to use the bathroom. … This is where I got really upset. I understand that it’s a fairly new restaurant — and their are always growing pains. But the service along with the bad food— and then Both of us getting sick— I don’t think we will be returning. The Denny’s out on Arlington rd is filthy and I actually called the Health Dept on them before. We are here because we knew it was new and it should be clean. Well, it is what it is… And that’s that.

Gloria M. Been here 5 times since the grand opening, hoping things would get better. In the beginning, I kept telling my boyfriend that they are all new and it will get better, but it didnt, it actually got worse. The service is terrible, the kitchen is always short handed or inexperinced. My boyfriend ordered A 4 egg omlete, it was more like 2 eggs. I ordered a side of turkey bacon and only got one(should have been 4). Waitress tried telling me that a side of turkey is only one, regular bacon is 4. I asked for a menu. 4 for $ 3. Manager said they would not charge for the bacon, and apologized. Got the bill.$ 1 for 1piece of bacon. Will be going to Freds from now on. Rating one, only because you cant post without chosing something. We really tried to give this place a chance, hence the reason for the five visits. I am not blaming the servers, or the kitchen workers. I dont believe all the blame should fall on their shoulders. I do think management needs to step it up, and if management is inexperienced, get a veteran in there to show them how it’s done!

Only reason I’m giving one star is because you have to choose one. Every server was standing around doing nothing and arguing and bickering while we sat with empty glasses. I ordered a burger and my mom ordered eggs and bacon it took over 45 minutes and still waiting will never return. Spoke to the manger and she said oh I thought you already ate and walked away

I’ve been here twice since their grand opening on July 1st. The fist time, our waitress Nicole was AMAZING. She was an older woman with reddish hair. She exceeded my expectations. She was truly a gem, too. Very attentive, very friendly and just gave an outstanding impression. When I find out her name– or remember it– I will edit this review! The only reason I’m giving this review a 3⁄5 is because of our waitress from the first time. I went back today, hoping that the first waitress was there, and she wasn’t. No biggie! Today our server was terrible. I’m not sure if she was just new to being a waitress, or had a big section, but it was all bad. Our drinks stayed empty our entire meal, my order wasn’t even right and she was never around to «fix» it or send it back, I was charged for a kid’s drink that I never even ordered, and the hosts couldn’t «fix» it, nor did they understand that I didn’t order said drink. Now, don’t get me wrong. I totally get they’re a busy joint, especially since they’re new. But, it’s not rocket science to take a drink off my bill(which I still had to pay for) that I didn’t order. Part of being a server is making sure that your table is okay and the food you bring to the table, is food your table actually ordered. I’ll still come back, because the hash browns are bomb and I love Denny’s. You can’t write off a restaurant based on one terrible experience.
