We were in the mood for chicken and everywhere else was closed. Drove by this place and decided to check it out. The food was so horrible that I ended up thawing out some chicken and cooking it at 11 pm. The garlic bread had no flavor and was gummy. The chicken was so fried and dry we were choking on it. It was also flavorless. We pulled apart every piece of chicken and got maybe a bite out of each one. The Jojo’s were also burnt and nasty. I’ve also never seen $ 5 for a small tub of Cole slaw. I would stay far far away from this place if I were you.

Fantastic pizza! I’ve been going here for pizza ever since I was a little kid and so has my dad. I grew up and still live right down the street from them. When we are getting pizza Emidios is almost always our number one choice!

Save your money. Been a loyal customer for more than 10 years. Had a bad pizza every now and again, but never let it stop me until they were all bad. Tonight it took the cake. No sauce on the pizza, they left out the white meat on our order of chicken(which by the way you pay extra for) burned on the top and undercooked on the bottom. Sad. This place used to be awesome. Don’t know what happened but I am not sticking around to find out! Save your money– there are plenty of better places to go in Akron!!!

We have always ordered here for work, the food is always fresh and delivered on time. If your going to do a larger order this is the place to get food from!

Grew up on this pizza! It’s a hit or miss with their pizzas now. The crust is either fallen flat or the sauce is bland or too sweet. I wish that a Great Pizza place would come to North Akron, that would make the local pizza shops step up their quality. Seems they have made enough money to gut their kitchen, because it is outdated and grudgy. My daughter won’t eat their pizza because the staff needs to look cleaner(dirty aprons)(dingy walls and floors) this place is existing on a reputation established 50 years ago, but they don’t have the standards and I don’t think they care about their clientele being satisfied. The other emidios in Cuy. Falls is newer, cleaner and puts out a much better product. North hill’s customers are African Amer. And blue collar White Amer. We deserve consistent, great product. They should show respect and put out a consistently good food product.

When I trying to go to this restaurant for the first time with my sister at 10pm. We was looking at the menu. And the employees was talking in vulgar conversations. I was highly disappointed and it was very highly unprofessional

Greasy, but great pizzas. Best in North Hill. The small and large are better than the sheet pizzas. Love the fresh sausage, it’s not processed.

Solid Italian food. Pizza is not my favorite, but bearable. Enough grease to lube up an orgy though… but anyways, the only reason that I come here is for the meatball sub and their jojos, which are aces. Plus they’re open super late, so in case I don’t feel like eating at taco hell I can swing through. Foods cheap, goes down well, makes you wanna come back. 3⁄5

We should have known to turn around when the place was empty at 6:30pm on a Friday night. We selected the least sticky of the 5 boothes to sit at and were greeted by a filthy girl covered in pizza sauce(if you consider having a menu thrown at you being greeted). We ordered a large antipasta and pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and banana peppers. Our lovely server called our order over the counter with a few profanities thrown in. Our salad looked edible and came with a bowl full of creamy«italian dressing». We stared at the salad for a few minutes and waited for some silverware. My wife ended up getting it herself and got dirty looks from the staff standing around. The salad ended up being fair with a good amount of toppings. The pizza had a good crust, but I am not a fan of «gooey» cheese and non-crispy pepperoni. There was plenty of sauce, which was on the acidic side. The bill was under $ 25 so if you like cheap food and aren’t worried about cleanliness check it out — if you like good food and pleasant people save up your money and drive down the street to Luigis!!!

Real Italian food. The pasta tastes homemade and they use good ingredients. Garlic bread is top notch but their salads are keeping them from a 5 star. 10% off for pickup orders, been around for over 50 years.

Pizza is decent. I’ve been there a couple of times. They messed up my order last time but I forgive them…
