Back in the day Friday night meant Fiesta pizza chicken & Jo-jos! That day evaporated long ago when my son first introduced me to Leonardo’s which has far better pizza and far worse chicken. Fiesta edges out the competition with the generosity of their toppings. The heft of the box alone offers a happy portend of things to come. The rest of the components, crust sauce & cheese are all fine but not especially noteworthy. The Jo-jos and chicken are fairly standard fare. The only thing of note was that 40% of our chicken pieces were our mutual least favorite … Leg… with all their wonderful tendony connective tissuey bits in their resplendent glory… Bleh! I rather thought SOP was to put equal quantities of each of the respective pieces, eg a 12 piece box SHOULD be 3 each of breast, thigh, leg and wing, but alas the meatier cuts were short changed for other bits, They(the legs) will doubtless be doomed to mold in the nether reaches of the fridge over the net several weeks, providing the perfect reason for putting leftovers into Zip Locks rather than containers, just pluck ‘n drop when the time arrives! No bargains-are to be had here. Their«large» 12″ pizza costs maybe 5 bucks more than the16″ larges one can get at almost every other pizzareia on the planet. The gyro that one of our party got was a joke, at $ 5.50 it should have been twice as big and half as dry. Pizza– 3.5 stars of 5 Chicken. 2.5 Gyro 1 star Value– 1.5 stars

For the most part the food it good. my issue with them is there pricing, there menu says one thing and the prices listed on the wall are different, and when you mention this they give you a major attitude

LOVETHISPLACE! How can you go wrong with fried chicken, Jojo’s and pizza for dinner??? Whenever I go back to Ohio to visit I HAVE to hit up Swenson’s(old school burger drive-in) & Fiesta Pizza. I just LOVE this pizza, I DREAM of this pizza. LOL-when I dream of this pizza we go on crazy adventures, solving mysteries. making the world a better place it’s dope. Anyway, this pizza DEMANDS you consume at least 1 – 2 slices over your max capacity. I’m not sure how it happens, it just does so accept it. The crust is delicious, the sauce has some backbone, they use high quality cheeses and the pepperoni is delivered by LORDOFTHEPIZZAS so you KNOW it’s good! They have great combo pizza’s but I go with double pepperoni and double cheese. It’s simple, but you get the 2 best ingredients. OHHHH, the Jojo, have you had those before? Deep fried crescent-shaped potatoes of greatness!!! Yup those are good too. The chicken I’ll admit has good days and bad days(not going on any mystery adventures with that chicken) but for the most part it’s decent. If you’re in Akron, Ohio… first off I’m sorry, but when Mid-West shock wears off check out this place, you won’t be disappointed! I give this place 9 «Scooby Snacks» outta 10

So sad… so disappointed… It appears that they don’t make the pizzas with beer batter crust anymore. Granted, I’d only seen the Hudson Drive/Graham Road location do this… so there’s no guarantee that they ever did that here… but…given that it’s a chain… I just thought… I assumed… …the pizza is still awesome, sauce, cheese, sausage… all still great. The crust is still very very good… …but it’s not beer-batter anymore. I’m going to go cry in a closet and play with my Legos for a few hours.
