We ordered a large pepperoni, boyfriend went to pick it up, turns out they forgot to make it. Okay. He has to wait 15 mins, and then comes home with this MESSYGARBAGESOUPYPIZZA. So I call them to just say that making me pay $ 10 for a messy soup pizza is pretty messed, and the manager just goes, «Well I cut that pizza myself.» With what? A butter knife? Your hand??? You’d all be better off ordering pizza from a dude in his basement cooking with an Easy Bake Oven. Would have better pizza and a more professional atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza and breadsticks deal as advertised in a mailer. I could tell from his phone conversation demeanor that the man taking the order wasn’t exactly a pizza pro, but I told him our address and gave him the gate code and everything seemed okay… about 45 minutes later I checked my phone(we were watching a loud movie) and had 4 missed calls and one, unintelligible voice mail. As I was checking my voice mail the driver(the same man who took the order, incidentally) called again and said that our address wasn’t coming up in his GPS. I handed the phone over to my boyfriend so that he could give better directions. This restaurant is located on Arlington and we live on a street that is directly off of Arlington. The man could not have been far away, but instead of delivering the pizza he told us he was going to return to the restaurant to have his manager deliver the pizza. He sounded very grumpy. Granted, I missed four of his calls. However, as someone who has worked many customer service jobs I deemed his tone of voice unprofessional. Approximately 30 minutes later the manager called. He said, «So, my driver said he couldn’t find your address…» «Yes?» I responded. «Um…do you want to come pick it up or something?» I said no because my boyfriend and I had been drinking(in anticipation of the pizza that would never come), but even if we had been completely sober we ordered the pizza for delivery because we wanted it to be delivered… Luckily, Domino’s(although not my favorite pizza place) came through, as it was now late enough that most other pizza places had closed. In conclusion, «Happy’s Pizza» did not make me very happy at all :(
