Land of Plenty

Talk about a finding a needle in the haystack, this shop it truly a unique experience that is worth fighting through the crazy traffic for. However, instead of using the front entrance you would be wise to park in the back lot & look for a blue porch.
I took a pinch pot class here & loved every minute of it! The instructor was extremely encouraging, knowledgeable and clearly explained what & how to create a pinch pot. This was a great class for any beginner or someone who hasn’t used their thumb print skills since high school. The shop itself is really cozy with lost of interesting pieces to look at & purchase. One of my favorites is the tiny little marimo jars & the wide selection of gems. I got this really cool vintage style tree lamp for just $ 35.00 when a similar one I saw @ Hobby Lobby was $ 59.99! Idk about you but I much rather give my money to a local business than a major corp.
Yoiung or old, this class was enjioyed by all & I can’t wait to see what they offer next!

This place is a hidden gem in Akron. Right next to the hardware store, you can enter through the front door or park in the back and go up the stairs (I think they prefer the stair enterance).
The owner is a total sweetheart and she is willing to help you find anything you need. She has a great selection of crystals, stones, and books as well as plenty of odds and ends. When I was there she was sold out of terariums but promised to be getting more in soon.
I can’t wait to go back and check out what new things she’s gotten in since my last visit!
