What a nice surprise to have a place like this on the lake. We celebrated a birthday here with family, a group of 9 seated comfortably. We ordered some bruschetta bread, pretzel rolls, and a couple of pizzas from the wood fired oven. The pretzels came with a nice grainy mustard & a pretty good cheese dip. All orders were good, my favorite was a lobster three-cheese pizza, though the chorizo one was also good. The place wasn’t super busy on this Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving, so we felt comfortable singing happy birthday and snapping some pics. They were cool with us bringing our own birthday cake. The views of the lake are nice, and though it was cold out, we did take a walk on the deck, which was really nice. I’m guessing it must be great to sit outside in the summer, but the intimacy of the place made it nice for a late November gathering.

I have to tell you this winery is wonderful! The views are over one of Portage Lakes with the boats and the winery is on top of the bluff looking over the lake. There is seating inside and out on the deck and also down below on the lake. Tonight they have a live guitar player inside and he’s playing a nice selection of easy listening of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The prices are reasonable for both the wine and the beer. Nice selection and microbrew beer as well. They have snacks and a few different pizza dishes. We had the cheese and pepperoni dish. It hit the spot. Dusk was settling and they started the open pit fire and it was awesome. My wife loved it. The service was good. So it has been a great evening here and we would definitely come back again!

AMAZING wine, atmosphere, and staff! Our favorite weekly spot for sure! Beautiful location on the Portage Lakes. We love visiting because of the ambiance of the décor but also the friendly smiles we’re always greeted with. That being said, we keep a full stock of Nauti Vine at home too because we can’t get enough! It’s THATGOOD! Couldn’t love a place more!

Where to start about this gem? The view is spectacular! You can sit inside(which would only be my choice on an extremely cold night) or outside on the deck or patio. I like the patio because you look over the lake. The wine is delicious. They also offer beer. I love that I can take food to snack on. But they also have a menu of tasty treats. The staff is very friendly! If you are looking for a great place to have a night out, you won’t be disappointed here!

Great atmosphere here, good views of the lake, cool deck and patio. Be careful on the patio however, last time I was there a patio umbrella blew over and impaled a guest in the chest! Wine is not really too good, and it’s not cheap either. They do have some craft beers available.

The scenery and ambiance get 5 stars, but the wine is TERRIBLE. If your going to be a wine bar/winery, you might want to make sure that the thing your specializing in is top notch. It’s the ONE thing that should be stellar. Unfortunately, I feel like the décor and scenery is trying to distract you from how bad what your drinking really is. I was here with a party of about 14 people and we ordered about 6 varieties(bottles) for everyone to sample. I sampled a total of 3 wines, only drank about a total of 3 ounces of wine, and couldn’t even attempt to try the other three they were all so bad. The pizza looked really good and everyone said it was delicious, but I already ate dinner and didn’t try any. It took an unusually long time for it to come out, though. The wine made me terribly sick, I started to get a terrible headache while we were still there and got physically ill once I got home before I even made it in the door. I wonder if you can bring your own wine, pay a corking fee, and enjoy the scenery? That’s the only way I’d stop back. Such a shame, I was really excited for this addition tho the lakes.

Came in here a couple Sundays ago. Wasn’t very busy and there was only 1 younger girl behind the bar. Fist impression: BEAUTIFUL location and building. Very well done inside. The bartender(who I later learned was named Kelsy) greeted us as soon as we walked in even though she was busy with a customer. The wine is very good. We had a wine sampler and later decided to buy a bottle. They offer wine and beer that they apparently make in the basement. Their Flatbread pizzas are TODIEFOR! Kelsy apparently was the cook that day too so she hurried her cute little self into the kitchen when we ordered and EVERY time a customer came in she made it a point to say hello and let them know she’d be right with them. I will definitely be back. I think the only complaint I have is that it wasn’t nice enough to sit outside!

Great place to relax with friends family or even on a date! We went on a Saturday– live music. The peach wine and Merlot was our tables favorite.

Fun place to go for good wine and beer in the Portage Lakes. The food selection is limited to cheese, pizza and snacks. Arrive by boat and enjoy the outdoor seating. It is definitely not a shot and a beer place.

There are both pros and cons to coming to the Nauti Vine. The location and décor make you feel comfortable and relaxed, whoever decorated this place gets kudos from me. My party and I ordered a flat bread pizza to share, which was really tasty but definitely could be devoured by one person alone(especially after a couple glasses of wine…) The wine was mediocre, especially compared to other wineries in the area. You could probably get the same quality from a cheap grocery store bottle, for about the same price as one of their single glasses, but then again you’re also paying for the ambiance of the place, which is quite lovely. I came in during the day on Sunday, and let me say my biggest disappointment was the staff there. The two women behind the counter seemed to not have much of an idea of what was going on. They weren’t rude, but definitely not diligent in their service which was funny to me since their were only two parties of four there, and just weren’t the level of friendly that I think should be expected when you’re paying 6 dollars for glorified juice and ten dollars for a plate of basic cheese cubed up with some broken crackers from a tupperware container. All in all I would say there are some serious kinks to be worked out, but I think in a couple months when it starts running as a more cohesive business it would be well worth the trip, especially because of the breathtaking view.

I went here with my wife and another couple on a Friday night. The place was packed. Walking in we were pleased, as the place is very nice. Wood tables, wood chairs, an outdoor seating area next to the lake with a fire to keep warm. It looked great. The men each got a beer, and the women each got a glass of wine. We also ordered a small plate of cheese, pepperoni and crackers. The bill was $ 47 and change. The cheese/pepperoni plate was $ 10, which made the beer/wine an average of $ 9.25 each. The glasses of wine were small, maybe 6 ounces each(and I’m being generous). You didn’t even get the full bottle of beer, but about ¾ths of the bottle poured into a glass. They put the rest into a cooler to sell to someone else. The ambiance was good. The prices were outrageous, and the beer/wine was mediocre. Nobody in our party of 4 said that they would come back.

My wife and I went there a few weeks ago and were surprised to see how busy the place was! We had to park at the shopping center across the street; pretty crazy considering they just opened. We went in and got a bottle of sweet red wine, which was exceptionally good. The atmosphere there is really nice; everything is well designed and looks brand new. They also have a few outdoor areas where it looks like you can bring in your own food(although the bar does serve some meat and cheese trays). We also got a bottle of white wine to go, which was good as well. We’re already planning on bringing some friends back here — GREAT hangout spot. The wine was pretty inexpensive compared to what most places charge. Beware that they are open only a limited amount of days during the week.
