Best coffee place around by far. House blend is consistently fresh and hot and unburnt(unlike some places down the street). I lack the adventurous gene when it comes to coffee, so I haven’t tried anything else, but I’d imagine other variants are just as superb. Also, unlike Angel Falls, Nervous Dog hasn’t turned into a hangout for Akron’s homeless population — but I guess that’s for better or worse. Sometimes you need a bit of authenticity in your Akron experience! Just sayin’.

Friendly baristas, plenty of seating and outlets if you need to get some work done. Atmosphere is quirky but also comfortable. Unfortunately the coffee here is just so-so. I agree with others who said the espresso drinks pull lukewarm. I’m not crazy picky about coffee, but it should be hot and the latte I ordered just wasn’t. I also ordered one of their granola bars which the barista recommended, I appreciated that it seemed to be homemade, but to be honest I just didn’t really like it. Some of their other bakery looked really good though. Bottom line is, I would come here if I needed a space to get work done, but probably would lower my expectations as far as the coffee goes.
