What a barbershop should be… It’s hard to find any shops these days that know how/​will do a proper straight razor hot shave. This place is the real deal. Go here for good service and good coversation. All around good experience.

This is a real, honest-​to-​god barber shop. Scott enjoys his work. And he appreciates the camaraderie and conversation that thrive in his shop. You can almost smell the testosterone when you walk in. I always get a good haircut from Scott and look forward to my visits. And he’s next door to the best bakery in Akron. Pay no attention to the review of «Alvin J.» He’s a serial Unilocaler, part of their «exclusive, in-​the-​know crew.» (This translates to schmuck.) Drop by, see Scott, grab a cup of free coffee and walk out with a haircut you’ll be proud of.

An old school barber shop. I have been getting my haircut here for years. Scott is not only a great barber he is a pleasure to talk with. The price is very reasonable as well.

Scott totally butchered my hair cut. I came in wishing that he knows how to give excellent cuts for men, but unfortunately lacking experience and professionalism.
If you want to waste your money, while make friends with the guy, then you come here. Otherwise, just go to SuperCuts, where they actually know what they’re doing.

Chill environment. Personally owned and operated. Cheap but quality service. I don’t get haircuts very often, because I’m lazy, but when I do, I go to Scott. He’s impressive enough to make my lazy butt write a review.

You know how you see in movies the really chill relationship that a barber has with his clients? That’s what this place feels like. Scott is a good barber and an all around good guy whose just fun to talk to. Cheap, good haircut, and chill guy makes for a good experience. I’ll be going here for the next 3 years!

After all these good reviews I thought I would head out there. I’m new to the area so I was really hoping this would be a good one. I love simple barbers that are no bs and just cut your hair. I don’t need fancy product or a seminar on how you completed barber school. Just cut my hair, do it well, and be entertaining. Scott, the patron, fit all those requirements.
Came in 30 minutes before closing on a friday and saw he had one customer already. He said of course I can fit in a new customer. While waiting for my turn I could tell that Scott and his customer had a great relationship. Seems like they’ve known each other for years and joked about a lot of things. Then a lady and her kid walked in and Scott immediately asked if this kid was the son of a guy he used to work with 25 years ago. How impressive is that? He continually impressed me with his memory and knowledge.
The haircut was great and very impressive for a first attempt. The location is very nice too. No doubt that I will be coming back to Scott regularly for my haircut.
Did I mention that he massages your neck with some sort of vibrating machine? It felt wonderful.

Love this place, Scott is the man. Walk-​ins only but he is pretty quick so there is really never a long wait. I wanted an actual barber shop and this place is great, neck shaves, full shaves, back massagers, sweet cuts.

Once you start coming here, you won’t go anywhere else. Ditch the women and frills of other places, and come here to get what you have always wanted.
This place is great for men. We can come in and converse as men do about a variety of topics as we wait to get a pleasant cut from Scott, the barber. He greets each of his customers, young and old. He ends your haircut by shaving the back of your neck to make sure it’s clean and smooth finish and a providing a mechanical neck massage. He accepts cash or check for a $ 14 haircut. Scott is also able to give you a smooth face by shaving your beard.

Great hair cut. Reasonable price. Friendly barber. They stayed late for me even though I was a walk-​in. This will be my new barbershop.
