For starters, this is a gas station with a convenience store and a drive-thru. Nothing special.
I don’t really come here anymore, now that I can’t drive my buddy around anymore. What I can tell you is the people here knew my buddy by name and started to know who I was. The people here knew what my buddy would get (chew) and what I would get (gas). They are pretty close to psychic, if you ask me.
It’s a good place to buy beer before you get on a boat. By the way, you did not hear that from me — alcohol is prohibited on the Portage Lakes because the lakes are state-owned.
I prefer Circle K, but only because I live closer to a Circle K. If you live closer to PL Express or need gas, this isn’t a bad place to do business.
