My brother bought his 5^th wheel at Sirpilla. It being the biggest dealership in Ohio, I went there as well when I decided to get my own camper. The sales rep was extremely nice and went out of their way to help, even giving us a good deal without too much prodding. We spent a couple hours looking through the inventory and finally found our camper. We were in the showroom crunching numbers when another salesman came by and said someone had just paid money down on it. You can imagine my disappointment. I ended up going with the second best camper. The process from start to finish was easy and smooth and on a used but like new 2010 camper you would think that everything would be in order. Wrong! When I got the camper to the campsite for the first time, the toilet water valve leaked, it had a hairline crack in it (likely winter damage) – so I couldn’t use the water system until I replaced the valve. Luckily a local place had one for $ 41. Next, when I went to start the water heater it wouldn’t come on. Upon a little investigation, someone had taken the water heater control module! All that was there was the wire harness, thus no power to the water heater and nothing to control it. The local store had one but it cost me $ 138. I know the dealership scavenges parts from their used camper inventory, because they did it for mine. Needless to say, it marred my experience. ALWAYS check your camper’s components for faulty or missing parts. Educate yourself. I am lucky that only two things were wrong with my camper. Someone else may not be so lucky. In all I found the dealership easy to deal with, but when you run into problems with a camper that should’ve been checked and fixed before being sold, it’s a bit disheartening. I know the dealer sells used campers as-​is, but come on… at least make sure all components work before selling the camper, especially a like new model.

The staff knows their stuff. However, they were not willing to negotiate on used travel trailer prices. We probably spent at least about $ 1,000 more than we should have. They are experts at glossing over and covering up problem areas. The trailer had many, many problems and I have had to put a few thousand into it in repairs in the first month. The only reason I’m not giving them one star is because buyer beware. We needed a travel trailer quickly, they saw that, and we got what we got. They are no different than any other salespeople. If you want a good price, go to Craigs List.

Yee haw… hitch up the ponies and ride ‘em little doggy. Uh. sorry, I was channelling my inner trailer loving redneck. Seriously though, when in need of a travel trailer, 5^th wheel, or motor home you can’t go wrong with Sirpilla RV. They have a wide selection, knowledgeable staff, and a very fancy indoor show room. They were also happy to negotiate and offer very good deals on their inventory. They ended up not having what we needed but if they did we would have certainly bought from them.
