For this semester, I decided to go here instead of the bookstore in the University of Akron’s Student Union. I only had one textbook that I needed, but I still went here nevertheless. The store was a mess. Ceiling tiles were missing, often due to spills from the apartments upstairs. The guy I talked to(I can’t remember his name) seemed more interested on when he was going to clock out(even though the store had just opened) than my books. Then there’s their«book rental program». You can save up to 55% renting instead of buying the book, but there’s no chance of getting any money back. After you turn in your books, you’ve spent close to as much as you would have from buying a book and having them pay for you to return it. That deal is not worth the cheaper price. Clearly no store near Akron’s campus is worth shopping at for textbooks. If you have to buy books, just use .
