OK, this is in my backyard and I have to give you the honest truth. The burgers are the best you will have. They really do a great job of putting fresh ingredients and a great seasoned burger. I had the zydeco with the homemade onion ring inside and I’m about to pop! Between the two patties also we’re thick cuts of bacon and melted cheese that really added that extra touch. My only issue is that they don’t have the hand cut fries anymore but these were OK. Come check out the burgers and they also serve different sandwiches and wings.

No nonsense place to grab lunch or dinner. This isn’t a fast food restaurant and you will have to wait 15 – 20 for your food, but it’s worth the time. I! have enjoyed everything I’ve had here.

Food was great and the staff were incredibly polite. The only reason I docked a star was the wait time for the food. The sign said 15 – 20 minutes and we ended up waiting almost 45. I don’t mind waiting a little bit for quality food but this was a little much. Thank goodness we had fried pickles as an appetizer, which were amazing btw, or we would have become really ill with the long wait. But once our food arrived we forgot all about the wait. Great food, just don’t go if you are hungry or in a hurry.

Ordered a burger. Been waiting 1.5 hours. Was told 15 – 20 min over the phone. Just asked again, said it will be another 15 minutes. No burger is worth that wait. Used to love this place. Getting a refund. Hey Chubb’s, how about being honest over the phone about how long it’s really going to take? Several people waiting when I got there said they had been waiting an hour and were complaining as well.

Great wings with the signature Marley sauce! Fries are fantastic! Love how they give back to the community too!

I’ve been here a couple times. The burger is supposed to be the best in town. The burger is huge and pretty good but very difficult to eat and the meat can get a little dry(typical problem with large patties). But honestly the food isn’t bad at all. If you’re ok with leaving in a thick layer of grease, the large portions and affordable price are a great deal. This isn’t anything I’ll go out of my way for, but I won’t turn down an invitation for either.

Good fish tacos, wings. I like this place for their varied menu. Take a number and Fill your styro cup at the Coke machine. Don’t be in a hurry or you’ll have a bad time.

I ordered a Zydeco burger cooked medium-rare and was told that they cook everything well done, no exceptions. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised to find a charred hockey puck where the meat should have been. Add slow service and ZERO atmosphere, and you have a bland meal in a bland place for 12 bucks. Never again.

Yes the food is ok, usually coated in sodium based seasoning but the customer service is atrocious! I asked about delivery to Helena, exactly 4 miles from door to door. They delivered to me twice and the last six times they tell me «no, we are short staffed». I called tonight and spoke with Kayla, the manager on duty. She told me that now they only deliver in aAlabaster! Then they tell me that they can fix the food and Ivan come pick it up. They forgot the reason for my delivery was because I am legally blind and CANNOTDRIVE! Thanks for nothing Chubbs if you are not going to deliver the stop the false advertising. You don’t have to worry about me and my family coming in or calling to order food again! I get better service at McDonald’s!

Hmmm… came in at 7 on a Saturday. Flies all over the drink station and a waitress was eating wings in the kitchen. Food was ok, but our first impression will stick with us for a while.

If you like good fries and below average burgers this is the place for you. 2 burgers, fries and drinks for $ 20. Not worth it.

Are there for lunch. Got bacon cheese fries and two hamburger and it cost $ 32. Seems kinda pricey for just two sandwiches. They were good and big but not worth the price.

I usually order to go because if you decide to eat in, expect somewhat of a wait if you’re in around lunch/dinner. The service is awesome from the few times I ate in. The Zydeco burger is the absolute best burger on the menu. The fries are awesome dipped in their Cajun horseradish sauce. You definitely get what you pay for here. Don’t miss out.

Good food… Just good comfort food. Not a lot to say. I picked up my go order, they treated me to a free coke while I waited. Super nice. Food was good.

The best way to describe Chubb’s is to state what it isn’t. Chubb’s is not Subway, it is not McAlister’s, it is not Firehouse, and it definitely isn’t McDonalds. Chubb’s is a no frills, cooked-to-order counter service restaurant that doesn’t skimp on portion sizes or on the quality of the food. If you are thinking fast food, then this isn’t the place for you. They have even posted a sign that states that your order will take at least 15 minutes. There is nothing frozen, canned, microwaved, or pre-made at Chubb’s. The wait is more than made up with the quality of the food. Great homemade sauces, delicious breads, house made fries and onion rings, gargantuan burgers, and some of the best shrimp tacos I’ve tasted. The owners of the restaurant are also involved in giving back to the community. They donate to local food banks and you can bring a canned good and receive a free drink with your meal. This is an example of the little things that separate Chubb’s from other counter service places. As a tip, if you order any sandwich in the foot-long size, go ahead and get a carry-out box. They do not skimp on portions. Also, try your best not to steal a jar of the homemade Cajun horseradish sauce. You might get in trouble.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve passed this place over the past year, I can’t believe I deprived myself of all the goodness this place offers. My wife and I were sitting at home last night trying to find somewhere out of the norm to grab some food and she said«let’s go see what Chubb Grub is all about». OMGIMSOGLADSHEDID!!! THEFOODISFANTASTIC. We got the Marley and Greek wings and I got the whole chicken and sausage po boy, I wish I had know how HUGH the whole po boy was I would have only ordered a half. The fries are cooked PERFECTLY and the Cajun horseradish sauce, I wanted to turn the squeeze bottle up and drink it. I can’t believe I waited so long to try them but I will definitely be going back… DEFINITELY!!!

DELICIOUS! We got 2 hamburgers & an order of cheese fries to go and it was all SOGOOD! Maybe it was because it was to go, but the bread kinda fell apart while eating the burger when we got it home 10 minutes later. We will definitely be back! If you ever are in a mood for a good burger(and fries), this is the place!

You are gonna wait for your food and its gonna be worth it. So sit down and spend 30 mins talking to your family or friends. It won’t kill you. They even have tvs now for sports. Bring in a canned good and get a free drink. The burgers are so big and juicy and delicious. My family loves the fries, so perfectly crispy yet not, if you know what I mean. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE their fried green tomatoes. I seriously dream about them at night. They have this spicy house sauce I’ve tried to emulate and can’t. And my kids love the fried pickles. My husband races about the fish taco every time we go. I love CHUBBS. I love Will and his family and I love everything they stand for. A great asset to our community!

This is a simple, no nonsense place to grab a burger or sandwich. You place your order at the counter, and are given a number to display at your table for food delivery. Several Unilocal reviews included comments about orders taking a long time to come out. We had a party of seven on a Friday night(5:30) and didn’t have any problems with this. I had a 6 inch shrimp po-boy and a side of fried pickles. The po-boy was on crunchy French bread that was good, but was falling apart. I think the bread was old, and so it was a handful trying to keep it together. Otherwise, the po-boy was pretty good. It contained a generous number of large shrimp, and they were fried in a light batter. The po-boy was«dressed» with lettuce, tomatos, and a cajun horseradish sauce. The side order of fried pickles was a large portion. The pickles were not greasy at all, and were right out of the fryer hot. The thin, ranch dipping sauce was an excelent complement to the fried dill pickle flavors. I like locally owned places, and it’s great to see that Chubb’s supports their community. They support the local food bank by offering a free drink if you donate two can goods for the cause. Also, they are an athetic supportor of the local high school(the Thompson Warriors).
