Just want to give a shout out to Cindy. She is the best thing about Dan Francisco’s. She studied at Sassoon and her cut and color is like no other. She is a master artist and knows hair. Thank goodness she moved back to the Bay Area. I’m a happy camper now. Go see Cindy. She will not disappoint! Cindy is a five star. I’m taking one star off because the shampoo bowl needs to be updated.

Cindy Hollis colors and cuts my hair. She is fantastic at both. Usually hairdressers have only one specialty but Cindy is a gifted stylist/​artist. She has been cutting hair since her day’s at Sassoon and I trust her each and every time I get the opportunity to have my hair done. If there were 6 stars I would give them to her.

Also, the music was nice and the shop is in an older but well kept, architecturally interesting building. Parking was easy also.

I love Dan, and he’s always done a great job with my hair. If you’re looking for a fancy, trendy salon, this is not it. But, who cares, as long as you get a great cut? He’s cut my hair when it’s long, cut it off, layered it, done all sort of things expertly. You can’t beat experience.
And, the price is certainly right — much less than what I spent in the city, and I get personalized attention. Highly recommend!

Darla has been my stylist for several years now. She’s a great colorist and really helps make the most of my very fine hair. We cut and color, and change things up every couple years. Darla helps interpret new styles to make them work for me. I’m nearly always pleased, and I also receive fairly frequent compliments.
If you’re looking for a new stylist, ask for Darla at Dan Francisco’s.
