Alka Sharma was my personal physician for over 10 years. She does not know what medications you are on and does not refer to your personal or family history. She failed to diagnose a fairly common thyroid problem for over 5 years, if not more. My mother had a thyroid problem (yes, check your notes) and I had classic symptoms (all of them +). She kept on telling me to take OTC allergy medication for my swollen face and eyes. Ginger tea for vertigo and nausea. Anti-​depressants for thyroid induced depression. If my hair was falling out it was because I wasn’t using the right care… An allergist took one look at me and said it wasn’t an allergy… I took her some research information from the web and she dismissed it and me, although she agreed to provide lab work. As a result she did give me a second medication for the thyroid, although she gave me 15x the recommended start dosage. Fortunately, I am not dead…
