Why 4 star? Bcause dropping off kids in morning is a pain! City will try to citations u & they not nice at all!

My kids have attended Lum Elementary School since 2007. It is a GREAT neighborhood school with phenomenal teachers, rich traditions, involved parents and most importantly amazing children.

My kids went to this school for the 2010-​11 year and one of their teachers was just okay and the other was simply wonderful! With a new principal on board last year, I hope the bullying issues that the other reviewer had would not be repeated. My general impression is that these folks are trying hard to educate to a super diverse group of children using limited resources.

I am a little brother using my sisters account.
I attended lum school from 2006 – 2009 and let me tell you this school is a piece of shi… I mean CRAP. I have diabetes and i got suspended for TWO WEEKS just because I had trouble with it. So there you go. Go to this school and see for yourself. Oh and by the way, I also got beat up and ridiculed because of my diabetes, my weight, because I was ugly and because I was poor. But who got in trouble for it? ME. This school sucks!!!

I attended Lum School from 1965 to 1968. What I recall was the teachers took care of us and watched over our safety. They rewarded us, and discouraged bullies. I made lifelong friends at Lum School.
