she’s wonderful. makes you feel comfortable and is quick and professional. it is hard to find a wax specialist that doesn’t make you help, as in pull your skin here etc. I hate this, but won’t ask about it beforehand because what if they are use to people helping and then try to do it by themselves and they don’t know how. So I was thrilled to find Bethany. I do think it is unprofessional to ask the client to assist in a spa service. Brazilians are uncomfortable enough, please let me sit back and manage my pain, err I mean relax. She does just that and will chit chat if you want, but is not pushy about it. The location is basic, but cute and discreet. the pics are accurate and there’s a punny sign on her door.

Bethany is great, she was easy to work with when it came to arranging an appt, and she was friendly throughout the whole visit. Outside of that the waxing was fast and super professional. Her location is cozy and comfortable and her prices are good for the east bay. I’d definitely visit her again.

It wasn’t my first time waxing, but it was my first time in years due to a bad waxing experience before (yikes!). She made me feel so comfortable on that table and was so nice you get the vibe that she really cares about her clients. She was so funny which helped me to let loose during my Brazilian which is so stressful to start with. I am definitely coming back!
