Gavin is the best! Like me he is a photographer whose background is in IT. How perfect! I am a 58 year old female photographer and am not tech savvy at all. I was a liberal arts/​arts major for heaven’s sake! I have had a variety of IT people over the years including my children, but no one, except for Gavin, who not only understood the hardware, but knows the software backwards and forwards. He can fix your computer, tell you what to buy, set up backup systems, and tell you how to tweak your software for ultimate performance. He is kind and patient and does not get flustered by the incompetence of his clients. He knows all the latest scoop on Photomechanic and all the Adobe products like Lightroom, Photoshop and InDesign, and can tell you the good plug-​ins and how to get the best performance out of them. I personally do not have the time or knowledge to figure this stuff out. Awesome, awesome — has saved me lots of money over the last two years!

I had been searching and searching for an IT guy to help me find a storage system to back up all of my photography files. Being a professional photographer, I have tons of huge files that need to be safely backed up.
Gavin was amazing from the first time I chatted with him when my current system was failing and I was loosing data. I was frazzled, he was reassuring.
He came to my home, looked at what was working for me and what wasn’t and made a game plan as to which external hard drives I needed to buy (much cheaper than what I was going to buy on my own) and set up an amazing system. He helped me with file organization and Lightroom Catalogues. Wow, I had them hidden everywhere.
Gavin came three times to completely set me up. He has called to check in, let me know of things he thought I should think about in the future and has remotely helped me with issues I had setting up software.
Gavin is smart, efficient, creative and understands photographers needs as well as the fact he knows his IT stuff. He is easy to work with and I am so thankful to have been referred to him. He is now my IT guy. I do not have to look any further.
