Love this spot! I used to come here 3 – 4 times a week with my friends. The staffs are super nice and efficient. I usually get the milktea with grass jelly. I’ve also had the taro milktea too but I like the original best. The drinks are just perfect, not too sweet nor water down. Oh yeah, their drinks are good and inexpensive which gives it two thumbs up! I highly recommend this quickly if you’re in the area and need a good refreshing drink. Their fried mini octupus, and popcorn chickens is also really good. It goes good with the bubble milktea. Cash only !

The last three times I came here and ordered the almond milk tea, I didn’t like it at all. There was leftover marzipan at the bottom of my drink. At the suggestion of my friend, she told me to order the regular milk tea instead of my normal almond since they don’t do a good job of making the almond. I’m definitely glad I listened to my friend because the regular milk tea is so much more yummier than Quickly’s almond milk tea.

I love this quickly because they have more variety than the others! Most others do not have ramen or many bubble teas. I like this place because quick service, not too busy, and they have a huge venue compared to others I’ve been too. For convenience their menu is posted all over the wall. The only downside is they only accept cash. They should get square or something as not many carry cash on their person nowadays. Overall review of this place is 4 due to not having cash. The menu is ideal and the bubble tea has various flavors. Friendly staff and relevant television shows.

LOVE the fact that all their milk drinks are made with Soy milk! I’m a very happy lactose-intolerant customer. I wish I lived closer to this location, I would be coming her almost everyday! All of the other drinks ordered from our group all had good feedback. Everyone enjoyed their drinks.

This place is my addiction! And now I can pay with Pay Pal!!! Even better because I never have cash. I can order my drink and snack ahead of time and pay and just walk in and pick it up. YES!

I ordered the«Lobster Puffs», thinking that at best they would be made with langostinos or crayfish or some crustacean equivalent. What their«lobster puffs» are made from are those fake fish sticks that are made from pollock and additives such as starch, egg white, salt, vegetable oil, humectants, sorbitol, sugar, soy protein, seasonings, and enhancers such as transglutaminases and monosodium glutamate(MSG). I ate one puff and later felt sick. Trashed these fake lobster puffs.

came by to get their green tea in a new size cup called jumbo size which is short and fat Why cant it be taller n slimmer? I dun get why cups r soo FAT. how the hell u hold it… with 2 hands!!! well u see how i hold it, from the bottom. :-/ I do like their ice tea drinks only. I dun like powder flavor stuff, it just dun seem natural wich is why Im not a fan. Its a good thing they got food, gives me another reason to return. Their popcorn chicken is ok, I like tapioca express popcorn chicken better bc its more flavorful n not dry.

The Asian American boy working around 6pm on Tuesday lied to me. The quickly in Berkeley has cartons of soy milk as an option. I asked him 2 times if they did. He said yes. I saw him ladle out the milk tea base. I asked him again and told him I can’t do dairy. He said there was no dairy in it. Now I am having a fun allergic reaction. By the way, dairy comes in varied forms and It gives me phlegm, stomach gas leading to throw up, and then digestive repercussions. I’m sticking to Berkeley’s quickly. Never again Alameda Quickly.

Unacceptable. I already waited 15 mins for one drink, and then was told that it wont be ready for another 15. As a customer i would like to be informed before i waste my time. How irritating.

For a Quickly’s, this location is a great one. Clean, friendly staff, and fast service. All the regular Quickly’s stuff, but great location.

I go to various Quickly locations, but this one is my favorite. The staff has always been friendly and they have a large selection of drinks – some Quickly locations offer fewer choices. I like that this one is spacious and it is also in a fun neighborhood. In the summer, it is nice to grab a boba drink here and stroll around Park Street. My favorite drinks here are the Lychee Snow, Taro Milk Tea w/tapicoa, and the Jasmine Green Milk Tea.

Place has room to sit. Typically grab some boba before studying at the alameda library. This place has tons of items on the menu ranging from spam to fried mini octopus. The most common milk teas, like Jasmine green tea, Jasmine milk tea, milk tea, and taro are all $ 1.49 plus 50 cents for tapioca. Can all be served hot or cold. Has WiFi. Quick service Only thing keeping it from a 5 is a lack of roasted milk tea.

Overall, Quickly ‘s is okay. It’s not exactly an outstanding or terrible boba place, but if you’re craving inexpensive milk tea or boba in Alameda, this gets the job done. What keeps me coming back are the ridiculously low prices & on both the drinks and food. I’ve been coming to Quicklys since I was in high school, and my favorite drink I like ordering is the Jasmine Taro Mixed Milk Tea. I recommend asking to mix your milk teas, the mixed milk tea flavors are so much better than ordering just one flavor of milk tea. It’s also no extra charge to mix! The milk tea & boba are okay but not extraordinary by any means. The milk tea is okay but doesn’t really blow me away with how great it is. Same goes for the boba, the boba is really chewy & I don’t think it’s really the freshest, but it’s still decent enough for me to come back. The food(snack) portions are pretty generous, compared to Teaway, located a block away; as Quickly’s fills the bag up to the brim overflowing with popcorn chicken or fries. And for the price of $ 4, the amount they provide you is pretty generous. The snacks are decent, nice, and hot. This is one of my go to places to just hang with a friend if I wanted to just grab a quick bite to snack on. Their meals(They offer a $ 5 meal lunch combo) are eh. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl which comes with a milk tea and I personally am not a fan of the meal combo. While I did receive a generous amount in my meal, consisting of rice and chicken teriyaki, the chicken tasted rather bland & I ended up drenching it in sweet and sour sauce before I could taste anything. I wouldn’t get the meal combo again in the future. It generally is crowded with many high schoolers, but that should come at no surprise as the high school is a block away. Offering affordable cheap food & drinks, it still to this day keeps me coming back. They also offer free Wifi & there are several charging outlets if you need to charge while you eat/drink.

Quick place to stop by and grab a boba. In alameda they are probably the cheapest place to get a decent boba at a great price. Being a chain the good thing is that the menu is pretty much the same at all of them. This location is not that large but has some tables for seating. One thing I do always wonder is why they seem ill equipped for busy times. Multiple times I’ve been there only to stand and wait in line for quite a long time because there is only one person manning the register and also trying to make the drinks for everyone.

Well. I ordered a couple drinks and well. my milk teas were not on point. One being the bubble milk tea and the other a strawberry milk tea. Both tasted off and left an unpleasant after taste, but the kicker was in 30 minutes later. The drinks can do what sugar free haribo gummy bears can do. if you don’t know here is link…

If you’re looking for a bubble tea place. This isn’t the place you want to come to. I walked here on my lunch not knowing that there is another place much closer to my work that’s 100X better nearby. The food is not good quality. I ordered egg rolls and pot stickers. The pot stickers were burnt and egg rolls were so mushy and tasteless on the inside. Need I mention they have a sign near the counter that says«once ordered or middle of making food we don’t refund» make sure you think about that before you order. They bubble tea is nothing special. The service was horrible. When I walked in at 1:20 pm there was one person in front. Some kid sitting there texting and seriously had no customer service skills. Take my advice if you want a good quality service bubble tea place,… Check out Tapioca Express. Just a couple blocks down.

I’ve been to quite a number of boba places at this point and I’ve always avoided Quickly(well, this particular location) because it has a really scuzzy feeling. From the smoking teenagers that tend to hang out around the front, to the furniture that’s falling apart inside, to the fading posters and the sort of strange smell when you walk in, this place could stand to get freshened up and cleaned. Even the quarter machine inside gets stuck when you try to turn the handle with your quarters(and yes, I was buying some Mario phone charms so I can speak for the condition of the quarter machine too). Cash only is a big strike for me, too. Get with the program. It’s 2014, and while people have their reasons for making a place cash only, which are usually self-serving, the times when I’ve thought I would finally bite the bullet and come in here didn’t actually happen because I didn’t have cash. Tried the Oreo cookie snow yesterday and it blew me away. Tasted exactly like the took oreoes and blended them into my drink(which I suspect they actually did). I’ll give them props for having the choice of a jumbo size drink option, which Tap Ex, T4, and other places I’ve been haven’t had, though I didn’t take advantage of it. Today I went back to get the Oreo drink again but saw that they had a banana Oreo snow and ordered it — equally as good, with a hint of banana. The thing that puts T4 above all of the other boba places I’ve tried, including Quickly, is that they drain their boba completely before putting it into the cup; I don’t like when I go to take a sip and taste the syrup the boba has been sitting in and can see a small layer of that syrup at the bottom of the cup. I wish more boba places followed suit and drained the boba well. I’d only drop back in here if I was in the area. Doesn’t warrant a special trip, even despite the very large menu and the delicious Oreo snow.

I eschew chain restaurants, and generally am skeptical of fried foods. Late on the way to an appointment HB and I quickly(see what I did there?) stopped into Quickly for some deep-fried lobster, shrimp, and fish balls to go. As I strolled quickly out of the store, paper bag in hand, I worried about the condensation screwing up the food. I needn’t have fretted; it was exactly as advertised. Firm, tasty, and it killed my «hangry» mood quickly and gave me the ability to be present for the next two appointments.

I love Quickly as a brand. But the employees here seem unhappy and rude. The tone of the guy’s voice came across as irritation. Get it together. Customer service is key to strive.
