A very nice Credit Union. If you’re fortunate enough to qualify for membership, I definitely recommend it. It’s a small, personal banking facility tailored to the needs of Coast Guard people.

I have been with Sea West FCU since 1975 (40 years) and have been very happy with the organization. I can’t say enough about what a great CU Sea West is. Employees are friendly, customer service oriented, and very efficient. I have financed 3 cars through them and been very pleased. The rates are excellent for loans and credit cards. I had identity theft a few years ago (not associated with SE) and they went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that my accounts were secure. They have systems in place to verify authenticity of all attempted account users. When I go out of town they note my location (s) and I can easily transact personal banking business as needed. Sea West is the best.

Really friendly and efficient team. I’ve opened all of my car loans at Sea West and found the process to be really smooth. Rates are always the best I’ve found across multiple credit unions (between 1.99 and 2.5%).
Will and Chris from the Loans department, as well as Zita at the Alameda branch, are really knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone here really looks out for you. Really feels like a local family bank.

I have been banking with Sea West for more than 13 years and have never had an issue. I am always treated with incredible respect and attention. Even though I do not live close to them anymore, I can make all my deposits at local Patelco Credit Unions for my Sea west account. Never once have I had a problem with any deposits made.
