Not only am I completely satisfied with my new glasses, but I will also happily recommend this place to everyone. The owner, Lloyd, provides the ultimate in customer service. That’s what local businesses should do, and Lloyd follows through in style. He’s there for the long run, and his service will prove it to you. Excellent selection, quick turnaround, reasonable prices and the best customer service you could ask for.

I was referred to Alamo Optical by a friend. The business owner and glasses crafter, Lloyd Jewell, recently opened this shop in May, 2010. I came in with my prescription slip and was helped right away. Lloyd is very friendly and really knows his stuff about glasses and lenses. The frame selection is good and I found a pair of Calvin Klein’s with clip-​on sunshades that I really like. I didn’t want to wait there as I was in no rush but was called back about 2 days later by Lloyd to tell me my glasses were ready.
His lab is in the shop so he can make any adjustments on the spot, but I didn’t need anything extra, my glasses were perfect and they came in a beautiful case. He did a great job, these are the best glasses I’ve ever owned. It’s easy enough to find, right off the freeway in the center of Alamo next to the Alamo Hay and Grain and the Alamo Café. There is parking on the street and around the corner next to the Alamo Café. Overall the service and price was perfect, I couldn’t be more pleased, excellent service!
